It will never happen, but that is such loose talk from a president.

The next few months will be wild, while we get used to how full of shit he is

He goes onto say that only a stupid person would talk about military decisions.

Which is hilarious considering he does it all the time.

Is the kingdom of Denmark even able to sell Greenland? The whole thing seems idiotic to me. I have read a few people’s takes on why it actually makes sense, but I agree, it won’t happen.

I think all this rubbish might be him trying to force the high tariffs he has been going on about.

He also said that if China takes Taiwan, instead of engaging militarily, he’ll raise tariffs by 100-150%.

Edit- here’s someone who describes why it’s good for the US.

I don’t know anything about this poster but it was the first one that came up when I searched for it. This is the general consensus for buying Greenland.

Donald Trump is in the clique.

If it’s revealed trump and Putin have some deal to divvy up parts of the world, I would not be surprised.

Yes it’s only a couple of randos on big footy, Putin and Trump that think the reason Russia invaded Ukraine was because they were going to join NATO

You’re spouting propaganda when you’ve been told of the facts but choose to repeat Putin.

Trump says it was written in stone nato would not include Ukraine. That is a lie.

Russia annexed crimea long before 2022.

Russia has long claimed Ukraine is theirs. They’ve wanted it for centuries.

Putin himself has said they have a historical claim on the country, not just Donbas or Crimea.

The tensions between Israel and Türkiye are very interesting, considering that Türkiye is a member of NATO and Israel is not.

I don’t think anything would happen, but if it did the NATO countries would have to support Turkey if Israel was to strike them.

Won’t happen because despite their nukes, Israel just doesn’t have the strength to take on Turkey. Good one for the war nerds to nut out.

Putin would love to put the whole Soviet Union back under the Kremlin’s control.

He wanted a reason to invade Ukraine and was given one, though I imagine that he believed that it would be a similar situation to 2014 when they invaded, installed a puppet and left.

I'm not sure he will buy Greenland, but I could definitely imagine the US getting a huge military base there.
