I spose the fact that I spent a lot of time on my uncles farm as a kid, helping him with killing and preparing animals for sale and also butchering them to eat kind of made me understand what we eat.

I truly believe that in order to eat meat, someone needs to understand where it comes from.

The process was pretty humane tbf, and all his livestock were free to roam the 100 acres he had.

Far better than the factory farming stuff people get from the supermarket.

My barber is from Sudan and we discuss it whenever I go in. I hold back a lot because I already feel like I spam this thread.

I haven’t posted much about the genocide in Sudan, because it was mostly in house, though many Sudanese people believe that the US are supporting one of the factions.

I posed that because of the hypocrisy of the US, it’s as plain to see as the nose on your face. They’re supporting one genocide, yet now are going to send SF into Sudan to stop a genocide. It’s garbage.

What I do take issue with is you sitting there saying me not posting about the Israel/Gaza conflict every day means I don't care about the issue or I don't support Palestine.

Transnistria has never been part of the state of Moldova.

As soon as the USSR collapsed Transnistria went to war with what would become Moldova to remain independent, even before Moldova declared its independence from the USSR.

You will no doubt call this "Russian propaganda" but Russia wasn't even a state when Transnistria started fighting for its independence. Transnistria was like Crimea, part of the Ukrainian SSR.

Also, that’s not the only time I wrote about it. I’m 100% certain of that because I relayed what my Sudanese friend told me what was happening.

It’s true that I haven’t posted about it for a while, but I distinctly remember posting about what I was told was happening.

Russia annexed crimea long before 2022.

Russia has long claimed Ukraine is theirs. They’ve wanted it for centuries.

Putin himself has said they have a historical claim on the country, not just Donbas or Crimea.

I did something similar with my daughter the other day when she showed me a photo of a calf “look how cute it is daddy”

“It looks absolutely delicious”

“DAD!!”

I do this all the time.

One of my kids is vego. She loves it.

She does eat chicken nuggets and supermarket schnitzels but I'm pretty sure there's no actual, real meat in them.
