I’d take Hodge ahead of Mitchell and Bontompelli and Petracca are making in roads.Robert Harvey, Danger, Goodes,Mcleod, Riccuito Black, Mitchell, Pendles, Swan, Fyfe, Cousins, Selwood, Bartel, Hayes, Scott West.
That's how i'd rate the rest.

Have to agree with this. Apart from 2010 when Pendles won the Norm Smith his other grand finals were below par. 2011 ok but was at peak of his game, 2018 very poor. If he did a Martin and was BOG in 2011 and 2018 May have been enough to get over the line. Especially 2018.For what it's worth on Home and Away performance I rate Pendlebury as clearly better than Martin (as well as longevity).
But when I factor in Martin's finals performances (not taking anything away from Pendlebury's various finals performances) then I've given Martin the slightest edge. I think that they both fall somewhere in the 40-50 range in my mental GOAT list (which I've never properly mapped out before).
IIRC Adams was your best midfielder in the grand final against us.Have to agree with this. Rank these players in order from 1-6.
Gary Ablett Jnr, Nathan Buckley, James Hird. Chris Judd, Dustin Martin, Michael Voss.
He did play well. All our guns saved their worst for the one that mattered. Sidey went from player of finals to the Leon Davis medal. Pendles, Treloar, Grundy below parIIRC Adams was your best midfielder in the grand final against us.
Guy was winning clearances everywhere that day.
Would love to know from older Tigers supporters if Dusty is their number one.Are any of them the best ever player at their own clubs? Maybe jnr at Gold Coast lol
How many are putting Hird last because of his involvement in the doping scandal rather than playing ability?
Were Voss and Buckley actually better players?
1. Hodge/Mitchell
2. IDGAF

I do think that plays a part. How many are putting Hird last because of his involvement in the doping scandal rather than playing ability?

I rate Diesel just behind Ablett Jnr and ahead of the others.Ablett Jnr is very overrated. Got a lot of possessions but for most of them possessions did bugger all with them other than sell team mates into trouble. Reportedly Poor leadership ability at the suns. Appeared to be a very selfish player that was more concerned with his stats.
Dusty is a big game player, other than that doesn’t really stand out.
Judd at West Coast playing along side Cousins and co who could cover for him was exceptional. At Carlton where he didn’t have that support, resorted to chicken wing tackles and eye gouging
Buckley great kick of the footy.
Hird possibly underrated but could lift his team mates up, will probably be known for the supplements saga if anything now that diminishes his playing career.
Voss is probably the pick of them. A strong leader, had great support in Black, Ackermanis ect. Played with courage and could inspire those around him.
none of them compares to Greg Williams who was excellent off both sides of his body, could stand up in tackles, 95% of his possessions hurt the opposition as he had that wonderful vision. The only other player that comes close to Williams was Sam Mitchell who had similar qualities. The issue with Williams and Mitchell was they were never flashy, they kept it simple and utilised their strengths. So are often overlooked.
