Intriguing team selection, rather bold by Barker, I like it.

Call me pessimistic but geez I will be nervous for Fields when he takes his first kick in. He's been talked up a bit in the media after those hhhhhhuuuge barrels in the twos and no doubt they will focus a spotlight on him during the game coverage. Really hope he doesnt shank one with nerves!

Bet my house on whatever dill commentator we get creaming their pants the moment he picks the ball up in the goal square...

I'm more worried about Fields/White on Vickery tbh.

Good news that Cripps and Dre are good to go. Bummer that Doc is not and Graham is out but Carrots, Gibbs and Menz are good ins.

Better team than last week by some margin but not enough to win the game IMO. Will be competitive.

Rowe not selected is interesting. I suppose with Griffiths out that leaves them a bit shorter up forward but Fields or White against Vickery...not sure about that.

Boek dropped and Tutt retained is the only selection I don't like. But having said that Boek has some work to do yet and maybe he is best off doing it in the VFL. And Tutt may have upside. Heard that he is a confidence player so maybe he will have a good game and improve because of it. Obvious sub for mine but.

I like how this team is beginning to get it's own post-Judd identity. It's been reflected in Murphy's last few weeks and younger players taking more responsibility. Like it.

Fields doesn't strike me as the type who'd be awed by hype or anything like that.

Can't complain about the changes. Hopefully Docherty and Rowe are fit enough to play next week.

Smart emergencies by the MC as well. A inside mid, KPD or runner if needed just sitting there.

Rowe playing for the Northern Blues on Saturday.

If Hampson is their ruck we should win by 50. :p

Sucks Graham is out and Cripps if he plays won't be 100%. Just happy Graham showed what he is made of in a string of games and will be with us going forward. Was worried he would get the axe at year end with the way things were going under MM.

Still think we have a good shot this Friday.

Not really Hampson = out Wood. Oh God, I just realized Casbolt is your main forward lol :p

We have a banter thread. Keep things respectful in this one.
