3 in a row, wow. Who could have picked this 6 or 7 weeks ago? A fantastic effort today to win all 4 quarters, to respond in the last when the Crows started to take the game on was fantastic.
We are playing some really good football and getting a good spread of goal kickers and contributors.
Was really good to see Setters have a game like that, he's been building all season and seems to be getting more involved, more often.
Gibbons has been fantastic, he has at times this year, bitten off more than he can chew with ball in hand and its been a credit to him, to adapt to AFL and a new position, he is building in confidence and i feel he has more improvement in him.
Big Levi, im so happy for this guy, maligned for years on here and in football circles, loves the club and does the best he can with what he's got and its clear he is having fun, as his output the second half of this season has been fantastic. His ruck work has improved a lot too.
If Daisy and Simmo want to play on next year, sign them up, both still offer so much, you don't have to play them every week but they both deserve it and the side will be better for it.
Good work by Phillips as well, thought he fought hard all day
Was Dow ok today? A late inclusion coming off sickness and he barely got near it.

Leaving the ground an hour after the siren was great. Could hear packs of carlton fans in the bars and on the walking track back to Richmond station singing lily of Laguna loud and proud...

A couple of observations from the G today.
1, at half time I said to my long suffering 25yo son who has borne the brunt of 20 desolate years of following the Blues, 'Welcome to 2020'. What I saw today was not a Cripps beating the dogs single handed, or a quarter of good footy followed by one of a MIA team. It was the win of a mature team, a team which can only get better. Confidence and belief are ephemeral. We have witnessed a development of both over the last 7 weeks, culminating in this TEAM win. Hopefully it continues. I see no reason why it should not.
2, the silly old cow behind us actually called security because same son was excited and kept standing up to barrack at critical moments. Apparently he was blocking her view. She lied and said she did not call the number, but why else would MCG staff come and ask Chris not to stand? It seems to be some sort of crime to barrack at the football these days.
I offered to swap seats with them so we would not be blocking their view, but apparently it was not worth moving for, just worth complaining about. WTF has the world come to?
