Fair comment, but to be honest I'd rather they focussed more on how good the Tigers are than the other glaring factor in this game.

This is a really stark reminder of how far we are from where we wanted to be at the end of this season.

A potato is a spud, Martin is currently playing up forward in a team who has had 100 less possessions and continually bombed the ball forward usually to the advantage of the defence.

People who are comparing this to the Bulldogs game have no idea. That game we didn't turn up, this game we are simply being outplayed. Richmond are using the ball better and have a functioning forward line compared to us where we are bombing the ball in and turning it over where Richmond then rebound into heir forward 50. Clearly it exposes where we are deficient but it can only be a good thing if we are going to improve.

The most disappointing part is that I personally thought we'd gotten these thrashings out of our system. For one to happen in round 20 of a season in which they were all meant to stop is just really disheartening.

The good news is that there's still a half of footy left to show some good signs.

Way too much blame is being lumped onto Martin as a forward. The ball is barely going down there (and when it is, it's being bombed in), and that's because our midfielders are getting smashed. Redden has only had 6 possessions, Rich 7 and Moloney 5.
