Our best team of the year in, at home against a struggling team. If you have a bad feeling today, you must be a nervous wreck every week.
Nope just realistic, Freo do play well against us and have a good record here, dont be surprised to see it close come the final siren, they towelled us up in round 10

Ive got a bad feeling about today, Freo always play well against us
Don't worry, if your bad feeling materialises, no need to be anxious for the rest of the season.
But really, we should be winning well at home if our selected list is fit collectively and individually.

Toby Conway managed for VFL tomorrow - no injury - Per Griagga on KROCK.

PFD is a warrior - but we cant rely on him to get it done every week - Bowes, Bruhn, Knevitt Holmes all supoprting but expect PFD to have a corker today.

Bowes, Bruhn, Knevitt Holmes - all developing well and Ollie Henry too for the future.

Stewy in the guts? Maybe - we put him in there last week to give us a boost - hope we dont need to this week.

Last week talk of contested ball and clearance -didnt go really well - we expect a boucne back this week to get it done.

And we expect our forwards to have abetter one today

On Scotty - Grigga says hes a great mentor and so talented in how he goes about it.

MOC - unluky to be sub this week but swiss army knife can kind of do several jobs
View it as a 23 not a 22 anymore.

Big day for the club and we want to get it done for Scotty.

By always do you mean occasionally?

Sure, they had a comfortable win over us at Optus earlier this season, last year's win over us was by 3pts at KP

In the years prior to that
2021: Cats by 69 at Optus
2020: Cats by 32 in a scrappy affair at Optus
2019: Dockers by 34 at Optus
2018: Cats by 133 at KP, kicking like 20+ consecutive goals
2017: Cats by 42 at Domain and later in the year, us by 2 at KP

I'm pretty happy to suggest that Freo don't often play that all against us, rather that they've had a couple of good recent wins

Bit of a breeze up the top of the Hickey Stand
If the last 2 games down here are anything to go by, the team that wins the toss will kick to the river end and that will very much be the scoring end

What I want to know is, who came up with this crazy idea of playing footy matches on Saturday afternoons?
Remember when shops closed at midday on a Saturday? All that was left after midday was footy and the late edition of the Herald with the Stop Press footy scores

You’re probably way too young, but it was a massive ‘thing’ in 60s + 70s
Jam tins were also involved
