I'm tending to agree.

Some of our games this year, Pies, North, much of the early part of Carlton game: not convincing in a finals context.

There's a few guys that need to lift and our style needs to change a bit.

Why have Clark in the side when there is no intention to move the ball quickly?

He's had opportunities but he's too hesitant to provide any run or drive - been the same since games last year where he often stops & props looking for a handball option rather than tucking the back under the arm and going for a run

Smith will be a much welcomed inclusion next week

And Miers (who is in your squad but not playing tonight)

I ain't even mad. I'm impressed.

Hopefully the coaching group are taking notes. GWS are doing the same thing North did in defending at stoppage above all else. They're all blocking as a first priority. Extremely well organised

Yep - missing his run and good disposal for sure

de Boer is really causing us a lot of trouble. With Dangerfield now out, he's going to shadow Selwood in the second half and we really need our midfield to stand up. Ward, Taranto and O'Halloran are doing as they please

Only? That's a third of the team. Or were you being facetious?

The balance of kittens to cats was risky but workable.
Injury to Danger and his replacement by Narkle shifts the balance.
Kittens will need to stand up and fight for a win.
Half time break is chance to reset and regain composure
The senior Cats must step up and lead by example
Should it go down to the wire ... Close non goal wrong decision may prove costly.

Greene has absolutely gone,
Plenty of life threatening structures around the throat, not to mention the carotid and risk of stroke.
Intent (it was the dog) or not.
