it's about time the Coaches, medics took back control of this club, it seems that the senior players are running the show, how else do you explain the likes of Cunnington and now Ziebell starting games and coming back from injuries too early. I so badly want to cut our club some slack, but they are making it so ****ing hard to do so, pathetic

Hang on so you bump a bloke after they kick and it’s downfield but you grab him by the jumper after they kick and it’s a 50??
This is the rule...

PREVENTING A PLAYER TAKING PART IN THE NEXT ACT OF PLAY
If a Player intentionally makes Prohibited Contact against an opposition Player who has disposed of the football for the purpose of preventing that Player from taking part in the next act of play, the field Umpire shall award a Free Kick and a Fifty Metre Penalty to that Player.

But in this situation, there had been no free kick awarded until Martin was held. When the umpire paid the free, Martin was released from being held - and in fact ran on and “took part in the next act of play”. He actually played on after the whistle had been blown but stopped shortly afterwards, holding one hand in the air to signal no advantage. It seemed that this was when the umpire paid the 50.

It won’t make a difference to the outcome.

Walker having a crack. This long bomb down the line is hard to cop, as it clearly hasn't worked

It's weird because, to me, even though we'd bought in another tall, early on it seemed like we were trying anything but going down the line.

Then, if I'm honest, after about 5 minutes I just no idea what the hell was going on.

We got ambushed

We have drafted sh*t truck after sh*t truck and Scott was heavily involved in that.

He never played to win and that has rubbed off on our players . And seriously we have drafted it would seem nearly everyone that decent clubs passed on .

How’s are first rounder McKay goin ? Don’t answer - it’s a sad state of affairs

We were never this bad under Scott. Bad decision taking Shaw
Brad Scott holds the absolute worst loss records against more clubs than any other coach in our history.

We lost his second game ever by over 100 points.

In our existence we'd never lost to either Hawthorn or Collingwood by over 100,both records Scott holds.

Hold off on the hyperbole.

Question. Does being out of the Melbourne bubble and generally having no crowds come to games or just in general being a small club, does anyone think the players give a ****?

Like we’re mad but does the club even know or care?
