Is this footy ticket thing going to work for Ed Sheeran? I surprised the wife with 2 tickets, but I grabbed them on my own account to do so. Since then they've emailed saying they're checking IDs and whoever booked the tickets must attend. I have absolutely no bloody intention of going.

Is it just a ruse to get you to resell tickets through their own channels which they mention in the email? I didn't dick around with presale just to cough them up to someone else or buy them off myself just to get them out of my name. Seems dodgy af, especially when the show isn't for a whole year.

When you negotiate coverage of the two kids for a night out, it's definitely not to go to Ed Sheeran for me. I'd prefer to have the kids than watch him But the wife loves it, so who knows, maybe she won't bite my head off for at least a week after

I'm not a big going out to listen to music kind of person, I think the last concert I went to was Grandmaster Flash at metro's in Perth

Me either. Did go to Metros for a gig last year though. Had a wild time, but hard going the next day. Need so much more sleep in your 30s to recover from sending it

A.M.C first 3 hour set in Aus. Drum and Bass Was every bit as good as I imagined, which is rarely the case.

Went to the Ed sheeran opening concert at Optus. Old mate seemed a bit miffed that the crowd was not all frothing for everything he said or suggested.

Wife went to that one but got cheap seats late. So I grabbed her good seats this time. As poor as the seats supposedly were, she thought the concert itself was great.

Someone should have explained to him that everyone was just too busy frothing for the stadium. So shiny and new.

Has become more manufactured pop since then. Latest album was unlistenable.
