Tonight I baked bratwurst and onion in beer in the oven, then put the brats on the BBQ and then had them with bacon, cheese, German mustard, tomato sauce, sauerkraut, reaper sauce and the drunken onions. Served with fries and onion rings and German beers - Vine-steph-aner. Our own little Oktoberfest.

Hope you had your lederhosen on or maybe you prefer a fetching little dirndl, no one judges here!

I mean I was feeling pretty proud of myself for grilling it in the oven and everything and I come in here and now I'm Milhouse

Has anyone done a big lap of Australia before? Trying to hit up different people for advice if so.
There's a 1000 YouTubers out there delivering a lifetime's worth of content on tripping around the country with their van. If you have a spare few months you could sit down and binge them all. But to narrow it down, Trip in a Van is basically the OG of this genre, and still the best for info and presentation.

But no first hand experience for me. I live vicariously through YouTube vids.

Thanks mate, there's so many channels I didn't really know which one to commit to watching.

This is something I’d love to do if I ever had the time/money to commit to

For sure, trying to make the most of 6 months off next year with the Bibb end-to-end walk and then back to Perth, dog in a caravan and then drive around for months. Counting down the days 'til it starts and it already feels like it's dragging!

For something with a more local flavour check out Wild Touring. He did a lap of WA a couple years back and made a series out of it. Was intended to be a lap of Oz, but Covid. Anyways, I've been hooked on his channel since.
