Yeah I got my 4th jabberoony in about mid July. So not exactly recently.
If this is as bad as it gets then I can definitely live with it, but it’s a pretty full spectrum sort of illness. Like in the space of 6 hours went from feeling fine to cold sweats, instant wet cough, full body aches, dizziness, fatigue, snot coming out every oriface etc. Normally with cold and flu those things tend to come and go over a few days

Day 3 for me and this is the mildest head cold I’ve ever had. Being super duper cautious due to other half being vulnerable, but so far it’s just cricket during the day, World Cup at night with call of duty in the middle
The dude that gave it to me knew he was sick but ignored his raging headache and fever - still went to the wedding I was at
He’s pinged too now unsurprisingly
My experience was mild to no symptoms for the entire period I had it. I'm not sure what it says about my immune system except it is superior and should be studied for science.

Would much rather all my family spend $200 on themselves (we are all adults now) than buying 5 presents for $40ish when I hardly know what any of them want (with the exception of alcohol for siblings).

A couple of years ago I just started buying all of my family members gift cards to various restaurants, wineries etc.
It gives us a reason to catch up in the new year and I can buy them for places I've been wanting to visit anyway.
They like this system, so I'm making it permanent. Shopping is very easy.
