It's very much the same pace as The Irishman. Acting/directing/production is all excellent but in the end it's still 3 hours of historical drama and violence.

It's good but hard to recommend honestly.

Broader still, I’ve always found the concept of wives of that era putting up with shit husbands quite interesting and depressing.

The example being the dude who was the Night Caller - Edgar Cooke, his wife knew he was a two bit thief and was playing around on the side. I suppose back in those days women seldom worked and they had children.

I know my significant other wouldn’t tolerate the above! Don’t blame her either

Went back and watched Matthew Perry's stint on the West Wing yesterday.

"Life on Mars" was really one of the better episodes of that series. Underrated.
