What I dont get is that they are obviously only going to get washed up athletes participating in this (e.g Magnussen). Nobody in their prime is going to even consider this, so you aren't even going to see amazing performances.

It will be like those T20 cricket leagues for retired players, with the added likelihood of someone dying.
