Well I mean, I'd hope my team would do the same in that situation.

I still remember one time vs Collingwood where Priddis CLEARLY touched a ball which went through for goal, despite the commentators saying they were unsure. One reply was in HD and it show half his hand getting to the ball. Miraculously, they didn't show that one replay again and only showed very grainy 'inconclusive' footage and the goal stood.

Made me realise how rigged this competition is for certain teams.
Not sure I would. He knew he touched it but instead of just walking away and let it be sorted out by the umps and video, he grabs the ball and starts taking it back to the centre.

Yeah, my view is that we want the other teams who are pushing from outside the 4, to lose when playing teams already in the 4. If saints and tigers drop some games, that gives us breathing room.

The flip side is we can still control our destiny vs St Kilda, while if Brisbane win out we can’t catch them.

Given there’s a chance they just have the whole league play finals in QLD anyway, I have no problem with a high Brisbane finish, if it means the chasing pack falls away.

I think St Kilda winning is a better result for us.

Given we have a game in hand, we are still able to overtake Brisbane as long as we don't lose more games than they do from now to season end. We just need to make sure we stay ahead of them on percentage.

On another note, the Gabba looks great during the day.

If they host the Grand Final, I hope it is held at twilight and not a night game.

Sorry I'm confused I don't know what you are talking about.

Ok mate.

If good teams find a way to win and the Eagles have won a league best seven in a row - are the Eagles a good team in your mind? Do we play with enough heart?

My big fear is playing Brisbane in a second vs third match, where we are the higher ranked teams but the AFL has decided all finals are in QLD.

At least if they win these games they’re earning home field, that’s the way I’m framing it in my mind.

Lions have to have some sort of mental hangup. Cannot finish whatsoever, and always leave the door open in games they dominate.

Doesn’t bode well come finals?

They have one of the lowest "expected goal conversion from set shots" and one of the lowest "actual v expected goal accuracy stats in the comp".

They're great to watch, but their finishing will mean they most likely come undone in finals once again. Prelim Final at best for them this year I reckon.

St Kilda being slaughtered by umpires. Can’t get obvious HTB decisions in their fwd half. Umpires afraid of the Brisbane crowd. What would finals be like there against Brisbane. Against climate, Brisbane, crowd and umpires.

If we finish above them play them at Adelaide oval. We should make that our finals home ground if Optus isn't an option
