Crows defender Brent Reilly is in hospital after sustaining a head injury at training this morning.

Reilly received immediate medical attention from Club doctors, following a collision during what was a regular football session.

He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he has been diagnosed with a fractured skull.

The 31-year-old is conscious and expected to undergo surgery late today.

The Club will provide an update on his condition as soon as it becomes available.

Fractured skull? What the hell did he collide with?

Rory Atkins ;)

nah seriously, i don't know. I'd suspect a headclash or maybe a knee or he ran into a goal post, or it was indoors and he ran into a wall?

At least we're keeping up our tradition of strange injuries in the pre-season
