I'm heartbroken as a fan. I just can't handle decade after decade of failure.

I went in tonight starting to think this was the year, we'll finally break the GF drought. Instead we're going to piss away the 4th top 4 placing in 5 years.

Even by the most pessimistic stats, we should have turned 4 top 4 finishes into at least 1 GF. To not only never make it, but to continually set records for our failure is just phenomenal.

It's embarrassing, it's heartbreaking, it's soul destroying.

I miss my club. I wish I could go back to the 90s and experience that again.

But I won't be there next week - not just because I know what's coming but because I've had bad news health wise this month and need to focus on that, mentally and financially. (Something we all face up to once or more in our lives so no comments on that please)

I only mention it because it makes me realise just how important this club is to me and how losing finals again and again, by shocking margins, should matter to our Board. And how it mattered to those we've lost silently from this board while those losses have mounted up since 2004.

It's my club, too and has been for 60 years, but I will not support this destructive regime, and I haven't for several years. Give them exactly what they deserve, which is nothing. Blame the players? Yes, they have been insipid, but how draining it must be to listen to Donuts every day for nine months a year. Until they get a new coach (not Carr), a new Pres (not Cardone), a new CEO and a new Football GM, they can do without my $. It doesn't hurt one bit. The next game is nowhere near as annoying though, I remember that from last year. The qualifying final is the uncomfortable confirmation that nothing has changed and then the semi just becomes a source of humour watching the inevitable unfold. Will be doubly delicious if it's Bevo and the Bulldogs coming back for a second helping and will be triply delicious knowing that Warren is sharpening the knife as we speak.

Never though I would see a Port player duck a contest in a final. I saw three tonight. And our lack of tackle pressure was an embarrassment.

Those facts on their own highlight a need for top down change.

just because they said Port NEEDS to make the GF this time and they go out in straight sets AGAIN in spectacularly embarrassing fashion doesn't mean they will finally get rid of him.
If his position was based on performance he should of been gone after 2016

That was a shocking performance tonight by highly paid professional sportsman.
Yeah Ken is shit but those players deserve just as much flack as he does.
The same million dollar players go missing when it counts year after year.
People say the list is good enough, good enough to win minor round games but I’m not sure about finals.
