7 goals 14 behinds in the second half makes me want to vomit. Still... encouraging to have kicked so horribly to win by 6 goals in the end.

What a weird game. That should have been a lot easier than it was.

Love that we got back in it after a bad start again and every time they got close we screwed the nut and booted 4-5 goals.

Hickey dominant against the AA ruckman with the beard.

Loved Acres work. Gresham showing flashes of genius.

Membrey kicks another few, 9 for the year against the Dees, not bad for a player they have on their 'spud' thread.

For a team that's 10 years ahead of us in their rebuild, they are didn't offer much. Pea hearts.

Oh and Jarryn ******* Geary sticks a large middle finger up at his detractors.

Yer yer we missed a lot of chances.. but who cares. I can't remember been this excited or happy to be a Saints fan. The future is so so bright.
It just seems like everyone has brought into the game plan. Relentless pressure, the kids tackle like men possessed and they are all willing to put there body on the line.
Steven- so exciting to watch. Absolute superstar.
Membrey- honestly how good is the kid? So strong in the air, has pace, great skills and is bloody tough.
Gresham- Superstar in the making.
Newnes- I would kiss his foot.. what a kick. Tackles like a mad man and is so consistent.
Acres- love him.. still makes plenty of mistakes but could be anything.
Hickey- knocking on the door of the elite ruckmen.
Ross- probably my favorite player. Pretty much does everything well and has plenty more to come.

I could go on and on... I can taste the success around the corner. Cannot wait!!

Realistically should've been more, but was a nice win.
Billings tired but was good in the first half.

It was obvious he went out hard to prove a point in the first half but ran out of patrol tickets in the second. He'll be better for the run.

I'm expecting the usual suspects to change their mind again on the side and the people in charge. 8 wins with still 6 to play is surely way ahead of most predictions. And those again saying the coach got selections wrong will again go into hiding. Its time we trusted the coach even if we don't agree because there is no doubt he knows more than anyone on here. Best were Geary, Gilberts second half, Hickey who may be the second AA ruckman and Joey. A few of those would not have played if some on here picked the side. On a down note I thought Minchington was very poor and again Billings struggled. Gresham is going to be a freak. Already has nearly the best step in the AFL.

I love watching Jack Newnes. He has become a more complete player who can play half back, wing and now half forward. He's having a very good season for the Saints. Will be a future All-Australian selection.

See a little bit of burgyone in him. Does lots of little things that add up to something big

Tom Hickey - BOG

Gilbert, Robberton, Dempster great games. A wall in defense.
Gilbert played best game for awhile. Geary courageous as always and kicked a few sausages.
Riewoldt worked his way into it. Membrey and Bruce very handy. Hickey probably drew even with Gawn. Possibly
more influential around the ground. Amazing skills below his knees he has for a big man.
Gresham just does those classy things. Weller was a huge influence. Ross , Acres, Dunstan very good last quarters.
Billings, Sinclair ok. Minch needs a rest and I reckon McKenzie needs time. Bit shellshocked at times.
Good that we could settle and burst away will a barrage of goals when they came at us.
Reckon we are one of the best teams in the comp for scoring heavily and quickly. We can pile on goals at breakneck speed when we want to
and smash teams. We are also pretty good at wasting chances to unfortuantely.
One of the best passages of play I´ve seen all year. Melbourne were moving the ball out of defense brilliantly and we
swarmed them like a flock of angry birds. Brawshaw dumped, turnover, Saints get it back and move it even quicker. Goal.
