the only thing I'm confident of is the process will be thorough and if he’s the best fit for the criteria brendan and the board have set he’ll get the nod.
That's for sure. We need the process, if we perform well for the rest of the season then that should give him extra credit. I would want the club to interview and look at others as well.

In all seriousness I reckon we aim very high. Which candidate has a vision to not just get us back to upper echelon but build toward a dynasty? I'd rather play the long game, take some early pain for long term gain. I accept dynasties require plenty of luck too. Mini has been impressive thus far however coaching for 12 games is a totally different prospect than building toward a dynasty. More than happy for him to go through the process. Benny and board will run a thorough process and the best candidate will get our full support. We now know that approach ultimately delivers success. It's the difference between belief (Richmond today) and hope (old Richmond)

Interesting how Pyke is highly rated. Will be interesting to see who’ll get it.

wtf youre a mod now ?

If he was able to get our younger players on the list showing something more by motivation, teaching, selection and position on the field then he would look the goods.

Does Cumberland need that horse whisperer to get him going as its frustrating that he is not out there given his precise kicking and other talents.

The long game bridge is burnt for two years as we have no draft picks. Another reason why we should stick with minibus as he knows the list and game plan. If it doesn’t work out then do as you say.

We need Pike to help us develop the intimidating Tiger stance.

Major the first round I meant. Don’t we start at 31 this year?
Can't we trade players and get more picks?
Did Gold coast give away a high pick last year and salary dumping?
That's a way of getting a high draft pick.
Giants always have too many high draft picks. We could get RFC pick back and take some of their salary.
Mind you they have offered HH 750k I think. So maybe they eased their cap last year.

So we trade off good players to get picks? Double whammy imo. Are we guaranteed our picks are going to be quality like we’re going to trade away? Could end up getting a Tambling, Hughes etc.

No we’re not mate as we had A graders in their prime time then.
We can only wish we can pull another Shai out of our butts again. 😂
Shai
Balta
Taranto
Hopper
and another 3 years from Lynch , Broad , Vlastuin , Rioli , Short

Plus another 20 young players that could be anything is really exciting

Last game of 2016 Sydney v Richmond 114 point loss these A graders were all looking like plodders
2-3 player changes can easily change the dynamic of the team.

Coulthard - Cumberland - Campbell - Clarke - Running through the foward line with speed and agility
Hopper , Taranto , Prestia , Shai , Dusty , Baker , Sonsie pumping the ball foward
Balta , Gibcus , Brown ,Rioli , Short , Grimes , Broad gel and become a rock solid defence
Ruck dept is as solid as we have ever had Nankervis/Ryan combo with backup Soldo/Miller

Only real hole is a KPF

Massive difference though mate to having matured A graders like Cotchin Riewoldt, HoulI, Edwards and Martin. It would need to be a long slog and only successful if every late pick is nailed. Two year wait for that pipe dream to even start rolling.
we have to try and win a flag by 2025 then start the long haul if unsuccessful.

Sorry I’m going to add this. Whilst Lynch is on our list it’s the best chance of winning a premiership.
The competition is weak as stated by many and we have the key players to do it. Collingwood or Port haven’t won anything yet in this long season and if we beat Brisbane we’re genuine contenders. The two games that have stood out this year are Us v Port and yesterday’s game Collingwood v Adelaide. Both teams have issues in their BL and can be exposed there.
Collingwood let you in as they play a high risk game. Port rely on midfield and forward pressure, but are vulnerable.
if we lose then 24 and 25 are our last rolls of the dice before we rebuild as Lynch will most likely be gone with Dusty.

Hardwick has already come out and said he wants to coach in 2024 I have a funny feeling he had lost the players and he jumped ship instead of being sacked
If true then he’s a dishonest and disloyal arseh*le as he’s basically done the same thing to us as he did to his wife.
