I think they have just had less injuries to their stars than most teams. Their kids are probably 12- 18 months ahead of ours.
They’ve had a few duds kick on as well. They may achieve something , but long term I don’t believe they are any better off than us with around six other clubs. They have a list which could easily fall away as their depth isn’t that good as you’re suggesting.Hinkley is a poor man’s Ross Lyon. They’re both bsa that keep stringing you along , but just can’t get the job done when it counts.

Don’t be fooled mate. There’s names in their team that can easily drop off and other teams don’t need to improve by much to knock them off. It will be interesting to see what they actually achieve in the next three years. I’m suspecting very little as they need a better key defender as you’ve said and a key forward than now. Mids excellent, but still one short.
They are fast which I like , but they’re no world beaters.

Those key forwards are all hit and miss apart from Marshmallow. He’s not that great either.

He is not a head coach is not good enough. Get some balls and tell us why he is not a head coach or why you have been told he is not a head coach please.

What happened in Brisbane only counts for so much, look at Voss, I think he has grown a little, I am starting to see what they are cooking but good players make good coaches

I do not know if Leon Cameron was a head coach, he played the role, but it looks like Kingsley is better

That is one thing about RFC's list, it is going in the wrong direction to help a coach, so we need someone who is given time if we are fair dinkum.

Ultimately we need a genius but that is unlikely to be available

Even if we got someone like Andy Collins good at development supposedly, he would have to be given six years to give him to to reshape and mould a new list composition and contention path. We really need a list management guru who can find a path to extract value to set us up in a few years without major disruption if at all possible

Look at teams like Port, they got rid of Wingard and others, Pies pushed out plenty including Treloar and Grundy and went youth

Yes and no , there’s not a lot of jobs for head coach so if offered , most would leap ,,,that said , several candidates will be busy with finals so won’t make a decision until sept campaigns over

Funny you say that TI , I look at top few contenders and I see flaws with all of them , none have that collective firepower of dusty jack Rance cotch and co
the few best sides are very well drilled Collin particular rather than brilliant line up
I rate our game plan , even more so that we haven’t got a f50 , get that right and look out

Exactly that’s who I’ve been comparing them to and that’s why I see them all beatable on their day.

I would actually be disgusted if it's Dimma. You don't just quit on a team, have a break for less than 5 or so weeks..and walk to another club. His reasonings were he was exhausted and wanted a break and was mentally drained. Pretty quick response if you ask me.

To me it says 'I can't do anything anymore with this team, I'm a little bored and want a fresh change with new players to look after'
