If that's the list, then Mini is a shoe in and its fixed.

Why even bother holding interviews? Reminds me of what happens at my company, "we just went through a nation wide search and the best candidate was found from within our company".
How is the company performing now CR?
Boy's clubs and nepotism can often be counter productive.

Josh Carr. Judging from the lateness of this news Damo’s getting his info off BigFooty.
Really he should be one of the first we interview. I believe it's Mini or Carr from here.

I have no idea about Carr, but it would be worth it just for the melts from Port fans. Read their Hinkley thread.
I have read over it a few times, its just that funny lol. Carr would look good in a tiger polo holding the premiership cup while Ken yet to get it.

I think the jurnos are just grasping at straws and just pulling names out of the known available candidates and hoping the one they have backed gets the job so they can claim they knew

Not one official reporter had McRae in the race until he had already gone into the final round of interviews and none had backed him either

It’s far to early in the process to have front runners getting leaked to the media and the only real genuine person that arguably would be a front runner is Mini simply because he is the caretaker and has publicly expressed interest in the job

been around for yonks without ever really being in the conversation. doesn't mean everything, but a factor. age might be a consideration too.

Same bucket as Ayres. Opportunity as a senior coach at AFL level has passed them by. Doesn’t mean they’re not good coaches.

I’m sure they have a pretty tight group they want to take through the selection process.

Ayres was stiff- coached Geelong's AFL side for 4 years, GF in his first , finals in the 2nd & 3rd, then got sacked after they finish 12th in his 4th year. Pretty decent record. Went onto great success with the Borough after that - still couldn't get another gig.
