Yeah I agree 100%. With the greatest respect to Mini, who we appoint has more to do with how we build toward our next premiership team around the current nucleus of 26yo and under players (and future trades / draftees) than it does about wins and losses in the current season. Mini has made some astute tactical moves though in recent games as well as been a steady hand at the wheel. The next 2 matches will be crucial to his case for the main job.I'm still not sold on Mini just yet. Sure the win/loss colum looks alot better but in reality we've beaten no one of note since he took over and looked bog average against 18th and by some miracle fell over the line against 16th. Saints are 6th but playig like a bottom 6 side and we beat GWS before they started humming. The real test is yet to come - Dees, Dogs and Saints at Marvel and then Port. If we can win 3 of them and make finals it's going to be hard not to give Mini the top job.
Mini will be stiff if he doesn't land the job and it will be a shame to lose him if we go with someone else but I still reckon we need a gun tactician more than a manager type.
