not sure we need to go again, our kids are shite and our cooked stars will be gone

we need a full rebuild dimma style if we want more sustained success imo
They're not shite at all. We have literally club champion and 3x premiership players that look shit currently. How do you expect 10 game players to come in and show more?

Too early to judge most of them. But there is absolutely more talent there than it currently looks.

Xavier Clarke or Matthew Knights for mine.

A new voice will hopefully help. The team seem just slightly off in the game plan or something to be able get close but not win. If McQualter can turn it around this year, appoint him.

Time for a revolution at the club. Sack Gale, sack the board, leave the AFL. Give the "tiger" name to Tazzy.

I want an anarcho syndichalist collective everyone at the club takes turn to act as senior coach of the week. Where Thursday selection decisions have to be ratified by a special by weekly meeting by a simple majority. But for club related, big decisions a 2/3 majority.
be quiet !!!

Chris Newman?
Think Leppa enjoys the fun assistant role more then head coaching? He might change that idea for the Richmond role.
Hinkley has had 14 years to deliver a flag, surely he isn't an option.

Obviously a long way to go before we appoint our next full time coach, but would love for it to be Chris Newman. Has done a good apprenticeship at the Hawks, was a great captain for us during a transitional phase and began the 'Richmond man' mantra. On the surface would be a fantastic appointment, obviously there's a lot more to consider than just those things but you know he would be embraced by the club and fans.

How quick can the “process” be completed? If it is possible could a new senior coach be appointed in 6-8 weeks, with him taking the reins for the back-end of the season. Gives him an immediate look at the playing group, an opportunity to try a player in a different position and a chance for some fringe players to prove their worth.

With all the talk about Yze, I would love to know what the knock on him is with the recent jobs being open. Same thing with Solomon.

Think Solomon was the one who leaked the Dew public unrination vid, reckon most clubs would stay away after that.

Don't think that is allowed.

Benny Gale seems totally flat can tell he’s hurting

He looks incredibly under-prepared.

I have no ****ing idea for our next coach atm. Its not a very inspiring list. The way Dimma spoke though it seems like they went into the season knowing it was his last year, so surely they have gotten someway down that process (hopefully)

Let’s do a Chelsea we are on our fourth gaffer

Biggest and best club in the country let every campaigner apply and sort the wheat from the chaff. Opportunities like this hardly ever come around. Have fiath in Benny and Balme to appoint the best candidate
balmey might go now

Exactly, this is the Manchester City/Real Madrid or the Head Job at Ferrari F1 being open. If we can have a strong leadership team with Gale, Balme and the board then you can sell to the coach as well that we will stick with you and not turf you after 2 years (cough Carlton Cough)

Coached 66 - won 14. Assistant coach his go.
That was 8 years ago @ a rock bottom Brisbane Lions. Lessons were learnt. What was Hardwicks record in his first 3 seasons? 24 wins from his first 63 I think. Since then Leppa has been assistant to Dimma for 5 years for 3 flags and 2 years under Fly - two great motivational coaches where he would have learnt so much. By all reports is already a great tactician. 3-time premiership player himself.

You couldn't find a better candidate. Hopefully we can get him on board ASAP but I can't see him leaving Pies before their season is done.

If they're contracted with another club currently, wouldn't work. Basically limits our options to a coach not coaching atm, such as a Buckley type.
