My point was for a new team they have a great record now and probably raise the level of the comp. Look at the NRL with the gold coast titans. What a complete waste of time they are. I'm almost done with afl. It's clear home ground advantage is a huge advantage on grand final day. Look at the last 10 years only the strongest teams win. Until either the highest ranked team or random team hostes the gf I'm done

Tempered by the fact we weren't good enough to get there, but that was terrific to watch. Richmond put on a clinic and GWS left completely at sea, bobbing up and down, bereft of ideas on the biggest stage. A car wreck of a day for them. Ultimately it's RFC's and theirs alone, but as a neutral, it was a win for good footy too.

I like Phil Davis and I don’t think he was the difference between the teams but he was a meter behind Reiwoldt all game.
No way he was good enough to play and the emergency kept Miochek to 1 poss last week.

I know we don't play Marvel all that well but think its your smaller type forward line set up that hurts us as we like teams bombing it in long & high so we can intercept & re-set up off half back. Although as Hardwick quoted "not even god could stop him (Naughton)" that night.

Players play injured in every grand final. There are no doubt players for Richmond who went in with issues we don’t know about and didn’t play well but got away with it. If the fitness staff gave him a pass it’s fine.
