Ward out. Patton out. Deledio out. Coniglio out. Whitfield doubtful. Davis not at 100%. 1 day less break. Travel three times in three weeks.

Imagine if the Tigers didn't win.

Cmon mate ffs, already had a week of this sorta crap from the media.

We get about 5 mins of fame per hour to the giants 30 then the rest adds.

That's what happens when you play in a home ground Grand Final against an injury-struck young interstate team. Pressure on the Tiges.
I think the media will be talking about the pressure on the Bombers more in the next 12 months than Richmond

Wasnt the last tigers flag a fluke ? Are we not just lucky to be there because our last 7 games at the G' ?
No Stack,Higgins,Graham,Rance

No pressure mate we just have fun like our team and if they lose so be it it was a fun journey and will continue next year

Now what about the bombers

Seriously one of the most ridiculous comments I’ve read this year. If there was any evidence at all of match fixing by the AFL through influence on umpires, the AFL hierarchy would be sent to jail.
Umpires make mistakes. Deal with it.

The umpires do influence results. Look at the free kicks some teams get at home like West Coast and Geelong. I don't think it's a conspiracy by the AFL. I think it's just the atmosphere of the game. A huge and vocal home crowd gets inside the umpires head. I feel like Richmond will do this, because they will have the much large fan numbers at the game, but on the flip side of that... The umpires could over compensate on the team with the lesser crowd in an attempt to prove they aren't crowd bias, like they do with West Coast sometimes these days..

Sure. Although Richmond usually plays in front of a 50/50 crowd, this year’s GF will probably have a pretty one-sides crowd I hope.
By the way, if the AFL instructed the umpires to fix the match for non-betting reasons, it may not be illegal but they would certainly lose all their betting sponsors and create havoc in betting markets. It couldn’t happen.

A lot of people going on about the crowd being a factor. This is nothing like a home and away game. Half of the Richmond army won’t even be there. The Grand Final is always half full of neutrals just wanting to watch the GF

Will still be at least 50,000 Richmond supporters there, we’ll still be loud.

And most of the neutrals will support Richmond.

Nobody really cares about GWS, and a lot of people see their draft concessions, salary cap, widespread academy zone, Toby Greene tactics, etc... as injustices. These factors, and the fact they are from Sydney make GWS "the bad guy" in this one..

The neutrals wont be supporting Richmond

I don’t expect we’ll have many neutrals support...

I get it... but Sheedy would be more fitting

For GWS, quite possibly.

For what he's done *for Richmond*, there would be at least 100 ahead of him.
