Honest question, but how are Tiger fans feeling this week? Confident? Nervous? Both?

Pains me to say it but I think two flags for this Richmond side in three years is about right.
Nervous but confident as I think we have the pace to force turnovers and beat GWS at the MCG with the game more on our terms.

I’m just glad it isn’t Bulldogs. If Bulldogs beat GWS and then took care of Brisbane and Collingwood, then I honestly would struggle to see how we’d beat them even at the MCG.

At least the week leading up is fun now as I think we have a decent chance of winning the Premiership even if GWS end up beating us in reality.

Wow .... Marlion, what a player. Cannot for the life of me understand why this guy has not been picked up earlier.

Understand his background has played a part, but his composure, awareness and game sense is elite.

It would be a great story if selected, but definitely not undeserved!!
Yeah man he had some issues but he is a gun two gun South Fremantle boys Tim Kelly and Marlon Pickett

For those Tigers worrying about the umpires, don’t. The Giants are last on the free kick differential this year. We are -22 so far this finals series. This same umpire group paid 11-1 against us in the last quarter against the Lions.
You won’t have any worries with umpires come Saturday.
How much of that is because of Mummy? Richmond are pretty low down on that list as well, and a lot of that has to do with Nank giving away ruck free kicks because he's undersized.

Ward out. Deledio out. Coniglio out. Whitfield doubtful. Davis not at 100%. 1 day less break. Travel twice in 2 weeks.

Imagine if the Tigers didn't win.

If we win, everyone says it was expected, if we lose it will diabolical and the haters will come from everywhere.

Yes

Imagine if the tigers didn't beat a side that had

Cameron
Green
Himmleburg
Finlayson
Deboar
Haynes
Whitfield
Davis
Hopper
Torranto

Would be embarrassing I agree with you

Would prefer the Giants to get up, but this game has a Hawthorn/WCE 2015 feel about it to me. Think it'll be done by half time and a snoozefest.

Anyone know if the Giants sold their allocated tickets? Would be good to see heaps of Giants fans in the crowd.
They didn’t sell many. Every unsuccessful ballot entrant and even those who didn’t enter the ballot but were entitled to for Richmond got one. They didn’t sell out until the 3rd extra sale with 7+ year members.

Obviously the correct decision from Coniglio seeing as he made the call himself. Williams to play midfield again.

Providing Whitfield and Davis are ok (which they should be) GWS are still a huge chance.

Rance out graham out stack out broad maybe cotchin and martin not 100%
Tigers Weren't even expected to make finals at the halfway point against a team that has been expected to dominate the comp for 10 years.

Imagine if the tigers do win

Good one. I’d much rather play in a GF and lose than not be there at all.
A fantastic effort already to get a team together after the bye, win all 11 games to make top 4, then win both finals after being behind at half time. And to then lose to a team with the greatest talent ever seen? I would be disappointed but still rapt to have a team give me so much joy this year.

Yeah, 100%! I wasn't even sure we'd make finals when we got to the bye.....then BANG!!! Win or lose, I'm just so proud of what the boys have been able to achieve! Still want the win though!! 😉

GO TIGES!!!

$1.37 favourites with the bookies.

I've heard this described as "an unlosable Grand Final for Richmond". Will be the feel good story of the year if the Giants pull off a miracle.

The bookies had Essendon as close to favorites to win the flag preseason too.

I don't think it will be a feel good story just that the afl can manufacture a flag

How many games have GWS played at MCG, over 25 rounds give or take?
Richmond are playing in their 10th straight. That’s ridiculous.
That QF was at the MCG???? OMG, you mean I could have gone without travelling interstate!!!! Why didn't anyone tell me they changed the venue from the Gabba???? 😲😲😲

You realise that $1.37 translates to about a 70% chance Tigers will win and 30% GWS? It’s hardly a lay-down misere.

Stop just trying to minimise your teams terrible performance over the last 20 years. Just like any supporter, you would be absolutely rapt if your team just made the GF sometime in the next 10 years.
