GWS were yuck
Wasn’t a problem when we shit chief. Nor last year. A strong team wins the flag, shock horror. Chin up.
Congrats to Richmond they are an incredible side and but for one bad game really could have won the last 3 flags.
Their speed, spread and structure is really impressive. We will clearly take time to get over this but I’m confident we will take it the right way and use it as motivation to be better.
If anyone said we would get to a GF at the start of finals we would have taken it. Today was a hard watch but I love our club more than ever and am buoyed by its growth and potential.

Commiserations mate just wasn't your day. Maybe it was a bridge too far after the impressive heart stopping back to back finals wins who knows.
Like you said it will take some time to recover from but you can still celebrate a successful year & an amazing finals run.
16 other clubs would die to have the chance you had today. You'll be better from the experience no doubt & good luck in 2020.

Edwards needs some love. He’s lead the clearances in two grand finals now. That is a bizarre stat for someone who probably hasn’t lead the clearances for any other game in either year.

That was the worst grand final I’ve ever seen. Never thought I’d see a worse gf than geelong vs port! Obviously, no fault on Richmond’s part.
It’s not even a game you can ever watch back on in a few years when it gets replayed. The game itself is irrelevant- just like 2007 gf.

Giants will be disappointed but they will bounce back. Fully fit Coniglio, Davis and Whitfield will make a difference. Was a mistake to play Davis and Whitfield imo. I said on our board before the game I thought GWS were to slow. Davis, Corr, Taylor, Haynes, Tomlinson, Himmelberg, Finlayson, Mumford and Cameron is to many talls imo. Players like Ried, Deboer, Perryman and Lloyd aren't overly quick either.

We had one knob behind us telling the GWS fans to go home. The first time it was funny the 30th time I had to tell him to shut up and show some respect. If the shoe was on the foot he would have gone home at half time.
I sat N29 which was right next to the GWS faithful. Not one got up and left with a few having tears in their eyes. Unbelievable fans and lots of respect.
