Great attitude toward a guy who bleeds for the jumper. I bet you'd prefer we bring in a proven selfish knob like Edwards?
He's too good for VFL but too shit for AFL. Maybe a NAB cup specialist. He'll probably get as usual and stream down the right wing, look inside, burn the forwards and kick a low percentage shot from the pocket. Being Melbourne he'll look like a competent player but come Dream team he'll be a passenger as usual.

We could use some outside pace, but White aint it.

Would've liked to be a bit cautious this week, give Arnot a run in the middle, put Cotch in the coaches box with Dimma, give Edwards a run, and rest Jack, Kingy and even McG.

We are risking being more players down with leather poisoning and sore ankles from booting so many goals.

Why risk Deledio? Why risk Martin? It's effectively the same thing, Cotch is as right to go as them and you always play the best 22 available to you. Much prefer Cotch to have a hit out this week so better prepared for next week anyway.
Don't think Martin or Lids are carrying a knee.

Burn the forwards???

If there is one player who gets burnt consistently it's White himself. Came on as a sub against the Cats and got burnt 3 times by his teammates in his one and a half qrtrs, and that's just on the side of the ground I was on. Seriously he is one player that over his career has repeatedly been burnt by teammates, he makes space but never gets the chocolates.

If you want outside pace, someone who can run and carry, who is quicker in the twos than White, particularly when he is in for Knights position which is high forward with the odd slot in the middle?

Is anyone else happy about WC getting over north last night? I think it's great as I think our team matches up against WC better than North, and it's gonna be tough road to the finals for north now.

I couldn't decide who I wanted to win for similar reasons! I thought since north already have a hard draw I'd maybe go for west coast...
But either way they're both sides that look like they'll be close to us in the battle for a top 8 finish

I hope Newy recovers okay, Dea playing is a positive though. I am looking forward to watching how Dea preforms in the backline. Hopefully Dimma allows Dea to use his run from the backline, like Newman did so well against Port Adelaide. Dea is a courageous player and Jack has talked about how is prepared to put his body on the line. Dea is respected by his teammates.

Dea has completed lots of dangerous missions, playing Melbourne should be a walk in the park for him. ;)
