Yeah definitely the most involved I remember seeing Brown get in a game. Did some nice things.

Was great to see some of the kids show they are ready when/if needed, Clarke, Ryan, Brown & Campbell to name but a few all showed something which is great going fwd.

Agreed.Along with Miller in the 1st half before switched too defence.
Clarke was outstanding
Brown showed promise
Ryan is making solid progress.

I'm concerned about Cumberland. I think it seems increasingly probable that we will be playing Cotchin in his spot this year just to ensure Trent is in the team. I think this is a mistake. Cumberland is a far better natural forward than Cotch. He creates and kicks goals that is not part of Cotchin's skill-set. Play Cotchin off the bench and let Cumberland establish himself in the role he excelled in last year.

If Cumberland begins the season at VFL level, not only do I think that would be a travesty to his confidence but also to our forwardline strength and diversity. Cotchin is a great player and leader of this club, but he's a midfielder not a forward.

100% agree. We all love Cotch but I wouldn't have him ahead of Cumberland in the fwd line. I reckon Cumbo will play V the Dees next Saturday in the official practice match.

They all can’t play 100% tog so will still get plenty of time in the backline, might even see him push through the midfield but in an outside role to use that long kick of his to clear zones

But yeah, don’t want him playing inside roles again

If we are talking about specifically rotating between half back and outside mid/wing and taking the backline when Rioli/Vloss would be resting I would 100% back short in, Where as a rotation between half forward outside or inside mid I would go with Sonsie

Clarke would have more as a small forward still at this stage
