Winning this week with this side may delude us into thinking that this is a winning formula for next week’s game. That slow side would struggle against Geelong on all lines next week IMO. With no VFL this week, I just hope the match committee realise this should we win well this weekend.

Even though Cumbo had a poor game, (but who didn’t) I did not expect home to be axed.
Everyone admitting our offence is a major part of our problems and we cut a guy who is averaging 2 goals per game!
We need to kick a decent score to win and hopefully regain some %

Making 3-4 changes every week makes it extremely difficult to build the cohesion that our side has been missing all year.

Miller will play back - seen enough of Miller everywhere now to know he either makes it in defence or it’s bust - he doesn’t attack the ball hard enough to ever be a fwd at this level
JGTI is a handy inclusion and like the speed of HRS, Clarke, Short, Macca, Pickett, Rioli. Sides better balanced this week

Think we're going in too tall once again for a wet weather game. Wonder if we make a late change if the weather ends up as wet as the forecast suggests. Maybe swap out Miller for Dow and add an extra runner to the mix. Also disappointed that Banks was removed from the squad as he has been consistent since he was added to the emergencies list a few weeks back, whereas Mansell gets added back in after going back for a week. Sure he kicked 3, but his form prior to getting omitted last week wasn't that great to warrant an immediate return to the squad.

Sonsie, Cumberland and Miller were probably the worst three against the Suns.
Cotchin managed. Prestia straight swap makes sense.
Graham comes in for Cumberland as the half forward role. Clarke and Short playing Sonsie’s role.
Miller lucky but expect him to play more as a key back which is probably where he is best.
I don’t think Ross was that bad against the Suns. Interesting that he’s been named on a wing however.
Assume that Ralphsmith plays back and allows Short to play more mid/ forward.
Does have the feeling of just trying to get a win about it.

I dont see how you can play Ryan, Soldo and Miller in these conditions. Perfect game to test out Dow.

soldo was only 57% game time last week. miller probably 1 more week of back up while soldo gets fit.

we rush in ageing players and drop the kids like sonsie and cumbo. got me shaking my head. hugo are you serious?
He does one thing that it seems most of our other players can’t do, and that is run. Until we have another winger that can keep up with the competitions best we really need him there just to keep them company.
It’s pre-2017 selection strategy. Blame the kids, not the senior players. If the likes of Sonsie and Cumbo were the only ones to blame for our poor form we’d have 4 or 5 wins right now.
