He had a personal trainer for preseason.. the guy meticulously takes notes in his journal every meeting they have

I just can’t see him not working hard when he’s doing that

yep, assumptions like that are what start an avalanche of BS posts and rumours about a player these days. You watch, I bet someone else will mention that in another post and soon everyone that loves sticking the boots in will be mentioning it in every post matter-of-factly

Got no problems with Cumberland and Sonsie getting dropped , but seems to me our kids take the rapt for the failings of our senior players not one dropped all year.Hugo straight in lol always going to the same well.

Just does it inconsistently atm

I’ve seen heaps of 100% efforts from him chasing, tackling and attempted smothers, just needs to do it more often. He’s young and got a lot to learn and grow

I’m backing him in to do so, just hope his confidence doesn’t crushed and he backs himself in too

Even though Cumbo had a poor game, (but who didn’t) I did not expect home to be axed.
Everyone admitting our offence is a major part of our problems and we cut a guy who is averaging 2 goals per game!

We need to kick a decent score to win and hopefully regain some %

He better be the sub

He’s been playing like sh!t. Deserves a spell, a total non contributor aside from one quarter.
He’s like a messiah to many on here when he’s done nothing to warrant it imo. He has done some great things. I actually do like him and some of his strengths but by God, he’s missing in action far too much.

Cant understand the hate for HRS, I like him!

Play him in the fwd line this week and beyond. He has good size, can work up the ground with speed and stamina and always kicks a few whenever he plays down there.

Yeah fair assessment.

I thought Bolton been looking much better as a mid rather than small forward last couple games..
but still been a disappointment this year so far, I really thought he was gonna go to a new level and average that 25+ touches a game or 20 and 2+ goals as a forward

We need a poll of what club Cumberland will be at next year
Won't be us after the way he's been ****ed up the arse this year

He’s had 8 possessions and 2-points in his last 7 quarters of footy. GC defenders did as they pleased on Sunday … intercept marks at will, waltzing out of the backline with no pressure - I don’t recall Cumberland bringing a single ball to ground the entire game.

He clearly has no tank so I assume he’ll be sub.

Not sure why anyone is surprised he got the chop from the starting 22 this week??

Hardwicks favorites can have one average game out of 6 without fear of ever being dropped. As soon as his non favourites have one bad one they're out the door. Blicavs runs all day too but unlike McIntosh he influences games. Too many around here bundle kmac and Pickett together. When Pickett gets 30 lays 6 tackles takes 10 marks, kicks a goal it's as though by osmosis spud McIntosh gets credited for it. He's fu@ken useless McIntosh...... Can run though

I think Pickett’s a bit overrated too. He’s guaranteed to do at least 4x really stupid things a match, 2 of which cost goals.

We desperately need Pickett and Macca to hit the scoreboard more.
