Agree, he's a distraction and if we're having a rebuild and a clean out, then lets do it thoroughly and have as few weak links as possible and build strong from the start..The ship has sailed, he is seriouysly looking and he is not invested in us. A culture killer - move him on at max return to the club.
Here’s a (very) hypothetical: Rioli turns his back on Port and accepts our current offer. How do we react?
Not sure to be honest. Hes not going to ever be able to come back in ripping nik (imo) and i reckon he will not even see out 2 years of his 4 year contractHere’s a (very) hypothetical: Rioli turns his back on Port and accepts our current offer. How do we react?
With mixed feelings at best. Here’s a (very) hypothetical: Rioli turns his back on Port and accepts our current offer. How do we react?

That would depend on the conditions we have paced within his contract. If other good offers are floated I would explore them. Only keep if it suits us.Here’s a (very) hypothetical: Rioli turns his back on Port and accepts our current offer. How do we react?

He has never been a beautiful kick. Always been pretty high kick over an average distance. He is worse now but that comes with less fitness and Injury as well as being under more pressure. That said, he wasn't a bad kick eitherWe have played faff as an im and he has lost what made him a great outside mid.
He was a beautiful kick of the footy in years gone by - now hes rushed and butchers it.
I disagree - his i50’s in his first few years were sublime. He had a also had s great party trick where hed line up for a massive kick to ff and it would come of the side of his foot and lace out to a player 30-40 m out in front. He has never been a beautiful kick. Have to agree to disagree then. Better than Priddis kicks for sure but not damaging very often in my viewI disagree - his i50’s in his first few years were sublime. Now its all priddis flourbags out the back of the pack.

The more inside he went the worse his kicking got. Like you said he was one of our better I50 kicks but post 2019 he's been horribleI disagree - his i50’s in his first few years were sublime. If I was Port (never thanks) Kozi in heart beatThere's been a little bit of talk doing the rounds of Kozi Pickett now possible wants a trade back to SA.
If that's the case then Port will go hard for him more then Rioli.
Either way I don't mind Rioli staying.
Know some wanted Rioli going for a pick 20 but let's be honest if Port are looking elsewhere then they never had intentions of offering 2nd rnd pick in 20s for Rioli so screw them
So basically it was PSD or we keep Rioli. In this scenario I'd rather us keep Rioli.

Rioli is a bit different though. Not good in the media and at the airport where they shoved a mic in front of him he probally felt like he had to say something when out on the spot. I don't think Rioli had much of a say on it. Most likely it would be his manager going something like "Hey Port are interested in you, they will offer you a lot of money on a long term deal" In that case he probally did warm to the idea and who could blame him. Port though are a rabble and an offer to Rioli can change quick if Kozi Pickett became gettable. Why??? He doesn’t want to be here, he wants to go and has been going behind the clubs back for half a year to leave. ..
Sorry even if we get nothing its better than a dishonest, disruptive player on our list. We have more than enough problems than having to kid gloves him any longer
Like a lot on here, you're giving Rioli an "out".Rioli is a bit different though. I don't think Rioli had much of a say on it. Doubt Rioli would of initiated contact with Port that's why his coming out saying his torn. I think once the contract is done Rioli would be 100% on board staying. Eagles don't just leave players out to the wolves unless we have too where Rioli gives us no choice and demands to leave.
