TIGER FANS MAY HAVE HAD ENOUGH ALREADY
Seems that perhaps the Fighting Furies fans have had enough of the clubs downward spiral. The once Powerhouse of SFA have endured a horror S17 which will come to an end after they battle the finals bound Gumbies this Sunday. 3 skippers for the season and sitting in 8th position the Furies campaign ended some time ago and despite a late surge with a few victories its seems fans are not impressed.
One fan threatened us with his membership "The Club seems to be going backwards at a rapid rate, how many Captains have we had recently?? Let me tell you....5 in the last 3 seasons, What does that tell you!!!
It starts from the top and if we cant get that right then its hopeless. Sure we have had a few good wins of late but its no good winning when the season is over. I have had it, I am use to winning, here stick my membership up your ****** ****"
The fan requested that we did not show his face
Yet for all the anger towards the club many seem to point the finger at the leadership. In a recent poll conducted throughout the SFA fumbler came in last place in a "Best Captain" poll with only 2.6% of the votes and was voted equal "Worse Captain" in the league. One fan said "Can it get any worse, we are not performing on the field and now we are recognised as the worst club for leaders in the SFA. This cant be happening!!"

Another fan was concerned about what the priorities were at the club " I don't get it, we have won 4 premierships, have a proud history and it seems the club is more concerned about bloody stats and jumper colours than winning quooty matches. I saw this jumper come out from a recent Furies meeting!!!! Its bloody PINK, **** me its PINK. What are we ballet dancers??
So plenty of soul searching for the Furies after this weekends match against a rampant Gumbies outfit. Another win for the Furies might settle some of the fans but many will be waiting to see how the off season pans out, but another season like this one in S18 will heap more pressure on the leadership group of the Furies.
