No Levi, I think that's a mistake. I love White's application but think we need Levi structurally so much more. Don't see how Ellard is an emergency over BB or Byrne either

Why all the Ellard hate? Seriously, the Ellard bashing is totally unwarranted.
When he plays he goes in hard and is a handy player. Again, he people were hating on him because he had the yips a bit in front of goal, but if he nailed those goals (e.g. against Fremantle), everyone would be singing his praises because he did have a lot of shots (which is a good thing).

And you're really that surprised he is ahead of BB and Byrne? 2 guys that are still very raw and lets be honest, have shown promise but still have many areas they need to work on to be AFL ready.

CArrots, Curnow, Everitt and Bell on the I/C....

Carrots, Everitt and Bell all seen lots of game time in NAB games but not so much Curnow...so I'm thinking Curnow even though he's a fav of mine and seemingly MM

Bell will be the sub for my mind, could also be Smith but I really hate debutant being given the vest - too much nervous energy for too long. Don't think Tuohy should be in the side personally, hopefully our tall mids (Cripps, Everrit and maybe even White/Rowe) can present as the third tall.

Not thrilled by the ruck selection, would love to see Rowe, Jaksch & Jamison just stay down back all year rather than trying to rotate Rowe into the ruck and mess with Jaksch going up forward.

All of these are good problems to have though, looking forward to Walker coming back into the side because that list + him in the forward line looks juicy.

The team listed isn't usually very similar to the team we start with, usually because coaches don't want to give away any hints.

I would think Murphy would start midfield (however maybe not looking at our starting 3), Yarran half back, Clem sub, Daisy forward. With a few other couple of tinkering also

Levi's NAB Challenge form was poor, absolutely fine that the MC didn't play him, you can't reward players for not delivering the goods in the preseason.

Its all about changing the culture at our club, no longer are players walk up starts based on reputation and/or team needs.

This is the kick in the bum big Levi needs (and I love 'Rock the Casboult') but as I say, he has to earn his spot.

Bit disappointed Watto ain't playing, but I figure Mick feels we have potency, and smaller towards have hurt Richmond in the past.

Interchange bench was different, i thought sub had to be picked from the bench.
