Fits the size profile but the way Stringer is playing, White will have to play his best game and be BOG to hold him ineffective.Have the feeling White should go to Stringer? Thoughts?
As stated in the previous thread, I'd take Rowe out for Jamo. His disposal just isn't good enough.

Thankfully the Dogs don't really have anyone that sized.
Nowhere near as developed as Dixon. Dixon used his body to dominate yesterday, Boyd doesn't have that to his game yet.Um, Tom Boyd?
Armfield on Murphy? At the end of the day though... I believe the key to success will be limiting Rob Murphy and Matty Boyd off half back...
Big test for our forwards to put as much pressure on them as possible
200cm 104kg is a big ask for Jamison in his first game back.Nowhere near as developed as Dixon. Dixon used his body to dominate yesterday, Boyd doesn't have that to his game yet.
Didn't realise Doc was carrying something week to week.
Must say, I certainly don't think he's in the great form people make out. He tries harder than anything but there are some things he does in defense that he really just shouldn't. Maybe my expectations of him are too high.
I love the guy and love how much this club means to him. I expect he'll continue to improve out of sight over the next couple of seasons
On Menz, I'm not his biggest fan but I don't understand the criticisms of him from yesterday's game. That was the hardest I'd seen him tackle and put his body on the line. Saad made him look a bit silly in the middle of the ground but that aside, thought he played quite well until the injury.
Yeah probably spot on.Not saying you're wrong J, but I respectfully disagree. I would have Doc in top 5 B&F at this stage, possible top 3.
His intercept marking is immense, he is very good one on one, cleans up loose balls in D50, links up well out of defense and does some great team things.
I do concede however that his finish can be a bit messy. He'll effect a great spoil, recover quickly, run around a couple of opponents and then half-shank the kick.
It's not great, but he aint perfect and I choose to take the good with the bad. Overall VERY happy with the Doc this year.
Yeah probably spot on.
The one I was thinking of on the weekend was where he spoiled the ball... straight up in the air for Lynch to pluck and kick a goal. It's just the small things he hasn't quite got right yet imo.
I've no doubt he'll get there sooner rather than later though.
So the little things? Because that's what I was talking about. Overall he's doing well but there are just a few aspects letting him down. That wasn't because he was doing the wrong thing though, he just didn't quite get the connection on the punch...

That punch needed to go somewhere, anywhere, rather than straight up in the air.
He's a good player that will only get better
Perhaps. That's not the only example but I don't really want to sit here and list every mistake the poor guy has made. He's a future gun and potential captain of this clubI don't know, that seems like pretty unfair criticism. Players mistime their jumps all the time, especially arriving late to a contest.
I'll stop dropping Simpson when he shows some form. He was marginally better than last week.Jiminy crickets, stop dropping Simpson
