There's no rule to say frees should be 50/50.. but considering I think we're actually a very fair team (too fair) and play the game in good spirits the majority of time it's strange. Particularly frees that opposition get that we don't get for the same identical action.

Our backline seriously carrying us right now. Weitering & Plowman in particular were outstanding.

Teague needs to do something about Cripps & Docherty... both playing below their best, have to scheme a way to release them more (or capitalise on the overemphasis on them).

I’m encouraged by the fact that Setterfield, Kennedy and to a lesser extent SPS are in our best - but they’re still fading in and out of games. Lovely signs though.

Perplexed by the likes of Cuningham & Willo - both have talent but still learning the ropes. That’s just something we have to cop... Cunners shows such X-factor with 2 great goals but then 2 infuriating misses. All part of the learning curve! Happy just to see them staying fit and learning.

I don’t love our mix of older players... we don’t have anyone better but Simpson, Murphy, Betts, etc probably don’t have much left in the tank. They have their moments so I’m not putting them - but we really need the new generation to start taking their place.

All in all, a win against a bogey side. Gotta take that. Every additional game (and win) helps the players learn to play together better. For all the younger guys - <50 or so games - this experience is golden and they will improve hugely over the course of the season. Cmon Blues!

Umpires, completely f’ed! anyone who defends them after that is cooked or blind or on the take.

Murphy, 3 or 4 games this year that weak effort has led to a game changing momentum swing. If you don't believe me go look it up on kayo.

The coaching is f’ed, the way we switched off for halls goal is a disgrace. Teagues presser before the game is damning in my opinion. (he doesn't talk to them or motivate them before the game) and ( I didn't do any work on the last minute scenario during the week)

I would say if we had a good coach we would be 6 and 2 maybe even 7 and 1.

Some examples:
leaving jones on charlie dixon last week
our structure in the forward line
repeating the same mistakes over and over again
admitting he doesn't give them a pump up before the game
not working on a glaring mistake that cost us the week earlier

I can find at least 10 more but i'm too angry to write them all down now.

I am one for sticking with coaches but he better learn quick

We dominated large portions of the match but didn't capitalise on the scoreboard. It happens. You know there is another team out there trying to stop us from winning?

We were the better team on the day and we got the 4 points. Zero ****s given how we got there.

I actually thought he competed well. Didn't get out-marked inside 50 and was actually surprisingly good in the ruck against Goldstein...i don't remember Goldstein having much influence and he's been one of the best players in the comp.

However he didn't look dangerous at all and didn't contribute offensively...but I mean with McKay, Charlie, JSOS & McGovern injured he's literally our last resort...not quite up to the level but that's not his fault. He competed hard today.
