to only be hit by a state of art torpedo from AFL office towards us and our ground. They did not miss. After the the long felt effects of the fall out Ground Zero begun in 2016. Thank god it all behind us.we dodged a bullet
I never tip against Essendon, but I’ve already pencilled you in for a win, with the media describing it as “One of the most inspirational victories in Carlton’s history”
He was named emergency this week IIRCFor all those thinking Lang isn’t AFL fit yet, the very reason he plays 2’s is to get match fit and he’s had 2 games already.
If the last 2 games have bought him on to the extent he’s reasonably AFL fit next week, sure as hell he should be running around in the 1’s and not the NB’s.
And..an 80-90% match fit Lang, if managed probably (say playing more as a small forward than a mid) will still give us more than the alternatives. Really hope he plays.
I'll see your rabble and raise a disasterYou blokes have a massive sniff here. We are a total rabble.
YepThe drug cheats will be fired up trying to keep us winless for the season.
Simply must spoil their party, and I reckon we’ll be up for it. Even if we only win one for the season this has gotta be it.
Crippa to monster the clearances and rack up another 3 Brownlow votes dragging us over the line!
Just a thought. How about trying Simmo as a defensive forward?
I don't care who replaces him, but O'Shea must go... seriously. **** it, I'd rather JGM... an he has no hope of making it.

Yep. Our win record on days ending in a y is atrocious
Pretty sure he was named in the bests in a paper I read this morning, I’m worried they’ll cling on to him for another week****, forgot about that. Yes, please remove O'Shea now. Cannot handle his mistakes anymore and he only been in there a week or two. He does not cope with AFL level intensity with decision making or execution it seems.
Keep the faith at least we didn’t run big Josh into form a few weeks agoI can see us playing Joe Daniher into form, he will probably kick more goals this week than he has for the entire season put togther. I think most key forwards have their highest goals in a game against us.
People here keep calling for them to rush players back in so soon after injury. That is what poor clubs do, we may be a poor side currently but we dont have to be a poor club and make errors like that, although they have flirted with that.
Only play one ruckmen this week, Kerr has done enough the last few weeks in the VFL to deserve a spot in the seniors and weitering should come in after a good game yesterday.

Hanging out bad for Murphy to be back. Just want to see him fit and well. We will win a few when he back.
Now that the wash-up has well and truly rolled through...
OUT: Plowman (inj), Rowe, Graham, Phillips, Casboult (inj), O'Shea
IN: Marchbank, Weitering, Murphy, Lang, C.Curnow, SOS/Polson
The last spot there comes down to how they'd intend to use SOS. Jack's intensity in this match will lift the team, and even though that third forward spot is there for the taking, I'd like to see him in the midfield. Mullett survives by a whisker.
Don't want to single you out here as others are backing the idea, but TDK isn't ready. His appetite is fantastic and his overall skill set exciting, but he doesn't hold his ground in ruck contests at VFL level, so if you're bringing him in, it's as a third forward.
Not sure he's consistent enough at that for AFL level at all.
Would love a win, but got to be honest, I got no confidence until game day whom is available given our injury run and even false dawns of guys coming back , only to find they still out again. If we had Murphy, Curnow, Williamson, Cuningham, Pickett and Bryne would back us in but we probably only get Curnow back and even Lang needs more game time in VFL I would think before coming back.
Casboult out for Curnow the only certain change for now I would think. They may give Weiters another week in VFL but probably should be back but not sure how we can keep such a tall backline still. Fantasia, Devon Smith, Tippa and others should relish running around such tall backs.
