“And so it's going to be a significant project, but you're absolutely right. Some grand stands would be great. We don't even have a tuck shop at the moment”

“You've got to bring food trucks in, which is fun, but we need to have some more amenity there. So that'll all happen in the next period of time.”

From Roos on Radio: Jen Watt on SEN - November 13, 2024, 13 Nov 2024
Did you hear their response to Jen? It was an Andy Maher / Andrew Gaze classic as if it were scripted by Flawed Genius himself;

Watt: We don't even have a tuck shop at the moment.
Maher (lowers voice): Hmmm… Need a tuck shop.
Gaze: Geeze! Gotta have a tuck shop.
Watt: (Laughs nervously)
Maher: Jen, you've got to have a tuck shop for God's sake. Hmmm.

Talking to admin staff, the idea of a cafe that has long been demanded around here is not universally welcomed by all employees at the club. Currently, they have coffee and tea amenities provided but they are aware that at some other clubs, once a cafe goes in, the staff lose access to kitchen facilities and are expected to pay for coffee and tea.

And? Of all the reasons to argue against a Cafe, this has to be the most idiotic I’ve heard. :stern look

It's not an argument. It's prima facie reasoning as to why you might be pissing into the wind expecting club employees to help usher in something that's against their best interests.

If you want an argument, the previously established fact that the majority of new cafes are failing at the moment is a far greater impediment to this going ahead. I don't imagine anyone would want to see the football department budget restricted just so punters can sip on an underwritten coffee when they watch training.

LOL. Zondor says. Of all the “reasons” to argue. Snrubs says it’s not an argument but a “reasoning”. Stop with the nonsensical posting. Honestly mate. How many posters do you think are buying this horseshit “reasoning” of yours? :stern look

Mate, do we need to catch up for a coffee? Or perhaps a Pepsi Max? You seem angry. RUOK?

LOL. I’m 100%. And once again your presumptuous nature gets the better of you. This is why you struggle to see the truth that is staring you in the face. :stern look

Company I work for is working on the master plan for Arden and they showed an indicative proposal and there certainly wasn’t a second ground. Not saying that is the final plan but it did contain recreational spaces but not an oval.

That would be a disappointment if it ends up being accurate.
