Aside from the very strong original wording of us telling Lobb he wont be traded (which we all knew was posturing), I dont think it's changed much. Whether it's Bell or Walls talking, it's basically been us saying "we need to get a deal too good to say no to to let him go and we dont think Dogs will do that"Didn’t even make it through the week before “We’ve got a young tall forward line, he’s crucial to us. I don’t see a way in which we’re trading Rory.” has melted into “yeah we’ll trade him for an early second”.
I’m shocked to be here.

We can easily walk away from Lobb I would rather play Darcy and JUHWell hopefully your not too shocked here by the end of next week ,after which both Brisbane and freo will have had their absolute way with the doggies over the trade table.
And you should. Still don't understand why you're so keen on him.We can easily walk away from Lobb I would rather play Darcy and JUH
Personally I can’t understand eitherAnd you should. Still don't understand why you're so keen on him.
I think that would get it done.I’m still keen for an early 20s pick.
I don't think it's worth letting him go for a pick in the 20s.I think that would get it done.
My issue with that is it would likely come from the Dunkley deal. That’s a really poor outcome for the Dogs on the return for Dunkley. Not Freos problem though.I think that would get it done.
Lobb’s ability to play 95-100% time on ground (including 2nd ruck) versus 65%-70% for both Ugle-Hagan and Darcy provides a lot more structural flexibility mid game, rotations for other players, etc.And you should. Still don't understand why you're so keen on him.

From dogs POV I agree but I get the feeling beveridge and co are pretty keen on lobbWe can easily walk away from Lobb I would rather play Darcy and JUH

A lot of Dogs supporters seem to think we'll bend once Jackson goes through but I really really doubt it. As sad as it is, he's just too important to us, even for a year
I think you feel bad for us given that in two consecutive drafts, without any effort, you guys grabbed more high quality KPF prospects than we've had in 28 years (Amiss notwithstanding).Personally I can’t understand either
This is what I said ages ago, pick 11 out of pity coming our wayI think you feel bad for us given that in two consecutive drafts, without any effort, you guys grabbed more high quality KPF prospects than we've had in 28 years (Amiss notwithstanding).
Overpay for Lobb to heal the wounds.

… that’s my thinking anyway.
Yes we have been lucky with JUH and DarcyI think you feel bad for us given that in two consecutive drafts, without any effort, you guys grabbed more high quality KPF prospects than we've had in 28 years (Amiss notwithstanding).

No
I suggested a trade wouldn’t be done for a second rounder.
The fact that the club is now looking at bringing a 30 year old tippa out of retirement would suggest yes, the club does see themselves at a shot at a flag next year
So if the bulldogs want him badly enough bevo best get on that pony real quick
Yeeeee haaaaaaa!
Not cocky at all mate , just the reality of the situation.
I do look forward to posters such as yourself tho who admit as much , only to back peddle and start squealing when David walls ,our ACTUAL list manager btw ,doesn’t trade lobb for a second.
His goalkicking stats would say differentImportant to note that Lobb has developed a lot since hes been at freo. Has gotten rid of his terrible stutter step goalkicking routine.
Darcy's raw. A couple of years of Lobb would be perfect to protect him.And you should. Still don't understand why you're so keen on him.
I suspect you will if the Bulldogs find a way to help Freo get Jackson and/or Sharp. Can my fellow Freo fans stop believing the club when they say they aren’t trading him? Clearly they will. He will be whinging all year and playing badly if they say no again.
Unfortunately he signed a long term contract that has a year left. Fremantle don’t have to trade him if they don’t like our offerCan my fellow Freo fans stop believing the club when they say they aren’t trading him? Clearly they will. He will be whinging all year and playing badly if they say no again.
I can't imagine any other clubs would offer much more than 30I wonder which Eastern state club Lobb will be playing for by the end of trade period. As soon as his manager changes their request from strictly just Dogs to anywhere that will have him for that contract and pay the trade price I think his options will open wide up.
I don't think Freo want to trade him under any circumstances but as the list manager said there's a price for everything.
I think it's more a case of Lobb's manager wanting to get his 30 year old average player back to Victoria and the Bulldogs being willing to facilitate it.Can’t believe the Dogs would woo a contracted player and then not pay a reasonable price
