That's 3 disappointing quarters out of 17 games of footy in 2019, the rest has been pretty good and about par on most peoples expectations for season 2019. But the hysteria based on those 3 bad quarters is hard to fathom.
Can you please confirm that you believe we've only had 3 bad quarters this season? Because that's how the above reads.

So you're saying Ross extracts every ounce of talent from his players then when he leaves their output diminishes significantly? Then we better sign him up longterm ASAP!! ;)

I find it very strange that Pavlich, Riewoldt, Hayes, Dal Santo, Barlow, Bell, etc are full of praise for Lyon and a bunch of keyboard warriors want him sacked after a disappointing month in a 300 game career.

Lol, that's one way to look at it. The other is that at St Kilda he crashed into an iceberg and was too cowardly to go down with the ship. You seem to be over looking how devious Ross's exit from St Kilda was.

Have lost our way in the backline without Pearce marshalling the troops. Switta and Matera lost down forward without any tall forwards to create ground ball.

Just a pity our injuries this year have all been to talls and our spine. Hogan, Cox, 211, Darcy, Tabs, Lobb and Pearce.

Same old detractors will say it's just excuses but you only need to look at how Richmond are traveling now compared to early in the season and conversely GWS who have lost their last 3.

All the form teams atm have good injury lists , Lions, Cats, Dogs, Hawks, Tiges etc.

Yep, we’re very unlucky. Have been for a long time

Cerra is probably the worst for this, followed closely by Switter.

WC have how many forwards, good balance of talls and smalls, who plays as the
medium tall?
The point I'm trying to make is that they are goal kickers first, targeted them in abundance.
We should look completely different next year, with Henry and here's hoping Taylor?
Other clubs have small forwards and a system to take advantage. I think Ross has finally
got the talls he has wanted, but has dropped the ball or put his faith in one system.

I think Ross was an innovative coach ten years ago and was ahead of his time. Unfortunately, the game has caught up and he is still clinging to his original innovations. Nothing worse than a stubborn coach unwilling to change. We had that with Bolton. He seems to have you guys playing a game style that isn't working for you but he's doubling down on it. In his defence your talls have been injured but the jungle drums are certainly beating now.

In my view, Peter Bell will support Ross 100% because he understands that a strong club culture is built around loyalty and support. Recruit two A grade mids eg. Kelly and Coniglio (knee?) and you have a finals team.

Thanks but your comparison to a rookie coach is not quite there. To be honest Teague has just inserted Murphy and Curnow back into the middle where they belong, it's not really rocket science. Bolton was trying to develop too many young kids at once in the toughest part of the ground.
Our losing hasn't had anything to do with our game plan, our injuries and our depth has unfortunately been on display. Our defense was #1 in the comp this year when we were healthy and our forward play was a work in progress. Injuries derailed all of that..

There is a lot more to it than just that. Teague completely out-coached Longmire tactically on the weekend. I won't go into detail on this thread but you sound like you're a Ross the Boss believer. I don't think you can blame it all on your injuries.

I think there's a lot of people employed in various departments that aren't the right person for the job. If Ross goes at the end of the year, Rosichs' years of nepotism should be punished and see him out also. Lets put some business first personnel in position who care about success and not giving their brother's sister a ****ing job, in turn breathing some new life into the playing group.
