Fwd half pressure was immense. Tackling was excellent and the setup down back looked strong. Burtons injury might not be as bad as it looked. Was walking around with boots on post game without too much of a limp. Alot to like. JOM was grouse. Titch immense.

Early days. The win crucial for belief this season. Poor last quarter really. Just went through the motions and were lucky it didn’t get to sub 20 at one stage.

Look so much better with experience on the field.

Burton a shame, hopefully not long term.

It is all about injury management and playing four quarters week in week out (tough to do).

Will be interesting to see how we match up against a real opponent. Collingwood very mediocre.

Is it wrong I just breathed a sigh of relief reading ankle and Burton - was at the game so couldn’t keep up with the news and was worried it was his knee. Any early news on how bad it was?

Really needed that win after a stressful week at work and my NRL team breaking my heart three weeks running. Thank you Hawks!

Shipped out Cloke for that spud. Cloke, as much as he frustrated; his worst game is still better than Cox’s best.

A fair bit of good, a little bit of stinky, a solid win overall.

Hope Burto isn't too bad.

Loved Mitch, Sic and Gunna. JOM, Breust, Poppy, Cyril, Burger looked dangerous as a forward line. If Rough starts coming good that'll be a hard forward line to stop.

Agreed, was an underwhelming win in the last 15 minutes when it had 10 goal drubbing written all over it.

Concerned Shiels went at 40% (Yikes!!!)

JOM went at 59% but I guess it's about game time with him and building from there.

Thought Frawley was our best with 12 1%/pressure acts but can't go past the bloke that couldn't get a game with Sydney.

Fantastic way to open the season. Truly a game we had to win given our fixture and we did it in style.

Roughead - A real concern
Mitchell - AFL Possession World Record holder. Every club would give their left nut for him
Impey - Finding his way
Sicily - Started the year in AA form
Duryea - Inexcusable brain fades
Burgoyne - I like him up forward too
JOM - Started with a bang, solid outing
Frawley - Bit of a worry
Howe - Solid, a few mistakes
Bruest - Back to his best
O'Brien - Not convinced he'll make it
Stratton - Almost BOG after Mitchell, saved many goals
Schoenmakers - Gutless, refuses to risk injury often
Poppy - Improvement over last year
Henderson - Surprisingly good
Rioli - Rusty but did a few Cyril things
