I do recall that being mentioned, but it would be difficult to keep to the playing level of warmth just rolling the legs over on the bike. Give it herbs and your legs blow up before you run out next.

Did anyone else do this random stop-start between Port games? Waterman played both but came on during the second half of game one, which is much easier to manage.

I'm circling it as a weird thing that could have easily created a niggle, even if he didn't warm up stretch again for the second match because he'd been on the bike.
Yeah/Naw, it is not always somebody's fault, it could be exactly what it is, a niggle.
Shit, i can wake up one morning with one of those, stiff neck, back etc. I am happy they are not rushing him in.

Culley being managed - calf problem.

As reported in Beagles related post on Facebook.

On iPad using BigFooty.com mobile app

Also mentions Hough had an illness-related setback which would at least partly explain why he’s not in the squad v North

From memory, Culley was the only one who played, rested then played again

I’m not 100% certain but I think all the other players who appeared in both games, played the second half of the first game

Yes, I didn't mean Gaff in the middle, the Gaff sentence was misplaced in my rant...just meant wherever Gaff is, he'll probably be ineffective, even if he is playing like a young man? Unless he's reinvented himself - which would mean increased speed and effective disposals...
I feel if gaff can get back to what he does best and run the shit out of a wing he will do reasonably well.

One of his biggest assets is his 2 way running and creating that outlet for our defenders .

Hopefully he can get his kicking back on track .

If he can get a lot of it and use it well it helps . He doesn't need to be flashy or attacking just consistent.

Much rather the ball in sheed or shueys hands going into forward 50 .

Bolded was definitely the issue vs Adelaide.

Thats a pretty big if. I think he is cooked. I hope to be proven wrong but I don't see him getting remotely close to what he once was.

Yes it was one of his biggest assets in a bygone era with a different game plan.
Maybe he can still run the sh*t out of a wing, but not at the pace of the new game?
Maybe we haven't seen all everyone has to offer in the scratchies, quite likely.
As long as we don't get more of those rushed chip kicks to boundary or turnovers, but raking bullets into the forward line...

Isn't it better to have the roof open, let the sunshine in, with some ventilation?

Really hope the gafster can get his form/mojo back, been a brilliant clubman IMO, loyal AF.

Yeah I think every Eagles supporter feels this way, but based on the recent evidence it feels like the game has gone past him a bit.

Is Jack Petrucelle's career pretty much over?

He's out of contract at the end of this year. At 23, with more than 50 games under his belt, this should really be his breakout year... but he's named on the emergency bench. In a side that is looking to rebuild, and looking for young players to lead the charge, he should be front and centre. Instead, he's already been overtaken by Rueben Ginbey, Campbell Chesser and Noah Long.

For a player in his position, being named an emergency for the first game of the season should be a pretty clear signal that his career is not far from over.

Is Kayo still the best option for us to watch AFL matches.

Thinking of re-subscribing during AFL season but not sure if it's still the best way to watch all matches live.

Dont think so, can't say the same about SPS though.

Culley pulled up a bit sore after being abducted by aliens and anally probed

That’s only a little less wild a conspiracy theory than some being trotted out at the moment

No wonder he is out of the side

Looking at the sides and even the lists top to bottom - even with Yeo out which stinks, we should smash North. I feel like either of Oz or Darling will have a day out on them. Oscar about to have a huge year

Nah. Came into the preseason injured and a bit behind, did some good work in the preseason games. Will be an important cog and in the side shortly.

Its not like his game is built on being an explosive athletic freak .

Natanui is the one that is cooked . Recon gaff will have a good year
