Super happy with 2334 points. Lucky with Butler and Marchbank on field. Premos did really well except Dahl. Nankervis, Stefan Martin, sandliands of the mid pricers did well. Roughy and Omeara poor and few other poor rookies. Got pretty lucky this week seems like a relatively high score for round one.
Did you have JJK?

Not too bad considering the shit scores I got from Pickett, Otten, Hampton, Florent, Taranto, Steven and O'Meara.

My rookies are a bit of a concern with only SPP getting anything close to a reasonable score, wouldn't be surprised if a few of them get axed next week.

I will also need to blow at least one trade on Riewoldt who looks like he will miss a few weeks.

2133.

Good - Fyfe, Danger, SandiWitts, Titchell, Beams, Oliver, Parker, Buddy, SPP, Laird, Doc, general midprice madness going okay thus far

Bad - Rooks bar Hannan and SPP - had all of Otten, Hampton, JSmith, Eddy on the field ><

Ugly - Gunston, Rance

Thinking Gunston for Hogan and Smith for Marchbank. Hogan going to go mental if yesterday was to go by, getting runs in the middle as well. JSmith shoulder makes me think we won't see him for a while, particularly since he'll have to get past Hibberd, Wagner, Frost to get back in the side.

I also scored 2133!

My #Nankilands risk paid off, at least for this week, with both tonning up. My two-premo defence risk, not so much... Otten and Hibberd stinking it up didn't help. Could have gained an extra 66 points had I started Butler instead of Eddy but who could have foreseen that?

It's not a great score seeing some of the others here but I always knew my strategy would leave me with ups and downs. 22 weeks to go!

2,118 all out... considering 5 of my 7 rookies on field couldn't break ****ing 60 (as well as my WHOLE ****ing bench) im kinda ok with that score.

Of my 14 rookies who played...
Total = 627
Avg = 44.79
:pileofpoop::pileofpoop::pileofpoop:

Thank **** for my premos for carrying my heaping pile of excrement that are my rookie selections to what looks a meh score

All the popular midpricers seemed to fire: Steele, Murphy, Adams, Tuohy, Nankervis...

Except the ones I picked: Roughy, Ryder, O'Meara

Total score: 2048 :$

I'd say Ryder did fairly well for his first game back in pretty shit weather conditions.

Plenty of time. Biggest thing is how heavily I've gone rooks in the backline - it's burnt me really badly this week. Think some will hold their spots though, Hampton/Stewart most likely. Hopefully Hibberd does too although he's staying on the bench.

The makings of a side are there which is the good part. Midfield is virtually sorted with only one rook on-field, and the only on-field rook up forward was Eddy who'll get swapped for Hannan anyway. Then it's just about waiting to get enough cash banked to shift Witts for Gawn and Sandi for whoever is the second-best ruck (or even leave him there). ****ing Gunston right off will also save me a whole heap of stress.

The worry for mine is Rance, but he's got time on his side.

2173. Looks a bit shitful compared with other scores being posted, but I'm ******* stoked after Black Saturday.

Now I'm thinkin' Hanners -> Murph and Roughy -> Budwah. Bring it on!

Both of these trades are horrible
From a points perspective, yes. From a cash-generating perspective, less horrible. Want to actually win my cash league this year which means sacrificing overall rank.

*EDIT* Make that Hibberd to Marchbank, didn't notice the spud on my bench.

Give a prayer for those coaches that went ... 2 - 0 - 6 in their defense :'(

Seems we've adopted similar strategies in loading up the midfield with guns and going rook-heavy in defence. Probably explains the score! Good luck :thumbsu:

14 (15 if you count Sandilands) keepers in my team and the lowest scoring was Dahlhaus with 85. Absolutely stoked with my starting keepers, all started the season well and hopefully they'll continue for 22 games. Room for improvement from Dahlhaus, Macrae, Lloyd, Treloar and Beams in particular.

Pity about the rookies - all let the team down except for Marchbank and Powell-Pepper.

Lined up Kennedy of the West Coast variety for VC but changed last moment to Tom Lynch due to him tonning up on the last 4 occasions against Brisbane. He did ton up but not as big as I would have hoped as the VC. Dangerfield came through well enough and I only lost out on about 35 points.

Solid start.
