Honestly, the club has managed to break my spirit a bit. I'll still watch every game and I'm sure they'll eventually put in a performance that reignites the spark, but I can't say I've given this game any thought beyond "yeah, we should win this one" and a brief thought about what our 22 should look like.

I had honestly forgotten (or just never knew?) that the season actually started this weekend until my son asked me if we could go to the G. I don't watch/read a lot of media, but what I have hasn't really mentioned AFL at all.
If others are in a similar position it may take the games on Thurs and Fri night to get things going

Game vs Hawthorn feels like preseason but worth points.

Besides it’s hard to get excited when you have no idea what the team is going to look like (and they just got destroyed by stkilda who’s bad)

Can’t complain because “pre season losses don’t count”

Can’t get excited because they haven’t shown much of anything good
