They changed the rules this year. Makes perfect sense.

I don't think it's a great idea to move a premo B/M into the midfield though. It would have to be a permanent move or at least until a B/M rookie put's their hand up for selection as a DEF downgrade target and who knows when that will be. Goddard, Deledio etc could be stuck in the mids for quite a while...

Press trade on McDonald, you can then elect to move Goddard to the missing Midfield spot and then trade in a defender.

Similarly I could trade out coniglio, move Adam Kennedy into the midfield and trade in a forward.

Parker is going to miss 2 weeks with a broken jaw. so he must have hit him pretty hard.

I would of thought a broken jaw is about a 5-6 week injury. Cant see him being back in 2 weeks if its a broken jaw

Martin scoring 86 for a game is hardly great, i guess its avg. But id expect more from him week by week.

I think I'll be keeping Couch and thus getting Kennedy's 116 now, not really confident about any other rookies unless I drastically change my structure which I am very reluctant to do. Hopefully Couch plays from no later than round 3....

Not happy with starting Ellis over Clarke now but we'll see how the second half goes.

Which rookies do you have starting in the backs this week?

Ellis was scoring a point per TOG in the NAB cup and was expected to play 70-80% at least so i was thinking 65-70 score. Nerves and big crowd along with a slight tag have got to him and hes probably not gonna score aswell tonight. Still think he was the option to start based on NAB obviousily great in hindsight if you got Bugg starting.
