Pretty happy with cotchin, got him as a unique and he's scoring pretty heavily. I'm not watching the game but does he have a tag or anything?

Fanfooty notes that he is simply going head to head with Judd. And we all know Judd isn't one for defensive responsibility...

Tonight for me:

Deledio
Ellis
Martin
Morris

I was strongly considering bringing Carrazzo into my side but have decided against it. Hopefully it doesn't hurt me.

, trust.

Deledio- 91 :thumbsu:
Martin - 79 (could have been a lot more, too much time in the fwd line!)
Ellis - 38 (guess everyone is in the same boat, so whatever)
Morris - 27 (sigh :()

Pretty happy with Murphy VC. But im gonna back Ablett to beat that 120.

Wish i went with my gut and picked Kruezer. Oh well. Its only 1 game against Vickery and Richmond

I would be pissed about Deledio, Martin, Morris and Ellis but I know everyone else in Australia has them so it's all good, Morris is on my bench this week and Ellis can join him on it next week, Bugg come on down :p

Do you know what i can see happening.....everyone puts Ellis on the bench, Bugg on the field, Ellis scores 90+ and Bugg <50 lol.

I know if i do something like that it usually happens. Happened to me the last couple years with captain options etc (as some of you may remember my horrid luck).

I didnt pick Lids or Martin

But i have Morris (bench) and Ellis. Not sure if that makes it even worse.

Deledio is a par score.

Martin well below par. Maybe my expectations of Ellis were a little too high. 40 in your first game isnt the end of the world if its your worse score/game for the year.

Robinson, Scotland and Ellis for me. Disappointed with Ellis and can't complain with the first two too much considering their first halves.

Cotch will avg 110 this year if he doesnt get tagged if not more.

Certainly a keeper for me. Always gets good tackle numbers and sneaks a goal here and there

Yep I got on him too. He'll average 105-110 or perhaps more. His only weakness (for DT) and perhaps in general was that he didn't lay a lot of tackles and wasnt the most defensive player going around.

Richmond hired a Hawks asssistent over the summer (Ross Smith I think his name was, not sure) and have worked pretty hard on pressuring the ball carrier. Combine his increased tackling (from only 3.3) with an increase in possesions due to his finally maturing fitness base and he's a genuine premium at a bargain price.

Anyway from tonight:

Cotchin - 120 :D:thumbsu:
Deledio - 91:cool:
Martin - 79 (A little disappointing, can be up and down in scoring. Still a good pick.
Ellis - 38 :(
Morris (on field) - FFFFFFFF:mad:FAAAAAAAAAA:mad:A:mad:AARRR:mad:RRR..........:mad::mad::mad::mad:

The reason Cotch struggles is the tag. Not tagged tonight but him and Martin will be tagged on most occasions with H2H runs against Lids. He has always laid enough tackles 3.5-4 in last 2 years which is quite decent.

Not picking Lids worries me already and may cause a bit of the coaching hair loss.

680/9

McDonald 98
Mumford 91
Deledio 91
Goodes 84
Martin 79
Giles 77
Smith 69
Coniglio 53
Ellis 38

Bench:
Kennedy 116
Bugg 97
Shiel 36
Morris 27

10 premiums, 2 mid-pricers and 1 rookie to come.

Glad I put Ellis on bench and didn't pick Morris. Ellis was on field for my SC though (50 I can live with I guess)

Don't know why I let other people's opinions influence me about Lids.... Had another back in mind. Wasn't convinced about NAB cup performance it was GWS.... Got to back myself next time and ignore the chatter. Don't get me wrong, 91 is pretty good but I think there are better scores to be had out of the backline in terms of value for money in these 1st few rounds. I'll have to get some sneaky upgrades done when the time arrives.

Well done to those that stuck with Cotchin, despite convincing agruments that he was better left out of the team.

Was tossing up between Mitchell and Murphy.... Didn't pick Murphy, hope Mitchell doesn't dissappoint.

Cotch was tagged midway through the second quarter if not earlier... thought he was a bargin @ the price... he'll be a top of the range premium for next years comp for sure.

Anyway had 5 Richmond guys in my team.. can't believe that lol...

Cotchin - 120
Deledio - 91
Riewoldt - 91
Martin - 79
Ellis - 38

848/10 atm

But I will have Kennedy's 116 and Buggs 97 to add to my score, thank f I had them listed as emergencys and that Mitch Morton didn't play... I'll make sure Buggs points count for backline..

Well had to play Morris and Ellis because of a structure change which is a bit of a downer and i had Martin but most do.

Positive for the night by a mile is Kreuzer. With Leuenburger's injury cloud i had to make a change last night. Was tossing up between Sandi, Jacobs and Kreuzer. Early days but it's a good start plus it helped free up enough money to go Porps -> Sidebottom :thumbsu:

Currently 859/10+C. Disappointing but all my rookies have now played. Have 9 premiums + Sidebottom, Hargrave and Waters remaining.
