Libba at the coalface is underrated who is their kick starter.Got pumped last time we played but we were mentally cooked by then.
Wouldnt shock me at all if Clarko picks Phillips to tag Treloar. Got 2 votes in each of the 2 games last year.
Running someone with Bont makes sense but he will still have 25+. Just need to try and negate his overall impact.
I think we are a 4 to 5 goal better side in 2025 than we were in 2024, and to be honest I'm not sure where their overall improvement comes from, especially with JUH looking extremely doubtful in round 1 and potentially beyond.
Every team has a chance in every game.Libba at the coalface is underrated who is their kick starter.
Dogs are known for slow starts to the season - even the suns have beaten they early in the season.
We’re in it with a chance if we come out to play
Yeh, if the entire dogs team comes down with severe gastro we may be a sniff.. see? ChanceNot the way you post
We’re actually having our reality check prior to R1 this season.Dogs by 54 points.
We arent going to get close. That pissant diving campaigner up forward will kick a bag and we will be pantsed across our half forward line on transition.
I know this because the same players who do not provide an ounce of pressure on defence will be in the team.
Don’t set yourself up to be disappointed..
Everyone here but a small handful are going to be disappointedDon’t set yourself up to be disappointed..
The entire comp has our number. We’ll see improvement, but how much is simply a guess.I'm optimistic about the season in general but these guys always have our number. Their midfield is very seasoned while we're still tinkering with ours. Couldn't believe we finished within three goals in that first game against them last year.
I'm praying on some round 1 tomfoolery to help us here.
Yeah they’ve been settled for such a long time. No big overhauls. They know how each other play. They’ve had the same coach and system for a decade. I think that’s tough to beat.Don't know if we can win but our midfield is at least the equal of theirs. Breaking even there, can we break even in defence or attack? The Dogs are a few seasons ahead of us in system and teamwork so perhaps a close loss.
