Today’s an important game for our season IMO.

Lose this and I see us go 0-4. Port Adelaide are flat tracks, and Sydney being our first win for the season? I don’t really see it. We could even go 0-5 because we play 2023 finalist St Kilda in Adelaide after.

Win tonight and I can see us go 2-2 (or maybe even 3-2), which would be a decent start.

up to whomever to prove the claim wrong,not the other way round ,just go look at the stats

Agree Mansell is just a foot soldier. MRJ is not only about goals, but more in GA and SI. You need to cool your heels on him as he's growing , but not as fast as we all want.

Im still not loving our midfield combination. But after being so badly beaten last week…they would want to respond in a big way against a very good blues midfield.

Seriously, how mint are the AFL.

Only they can make a team play off a 5 day break in round 1.

Seriously, what f-ing sense does it make to have a team playing off a 5 day break so early in the season where they are still working towards match fitness. Especially considering the list is the 4th oldest & our starting group is probably higher. What a stupid way to make a team start the season

5 days ago we Lost to last years 15th by 40 points.

Carlton beat last years runner up away.

Our midfield has major issues. Carltons midfield is stronger than Gold Coasts. The addition of Martin (who isn't defensive) won't impact stemming the flow.

Lynch coming back off a year long injury, with Yze confirming he won't play his usual gametime.

Thats before we get to the umpires.

Umps love Carlton and in particular free kicks given to their key fwds in front of goal for the slightest of touches.
