Yes and we dealt with them appropriately. We’re likely not beating their full team (does that ever happen?) mid July at MCG, but it was hardly a VFL team.

I was there tonight - Giants extremely impressive after a slow start. Thoroughly enjoyed watching those * leaving early in the last quarter.
Looking forward to next week, no doubt they’ve been up for tonight’s game for a long time, hopefully there’s a bit of a let down.

We need to be realistic, next week could be ugly for us. We might stick with them for a quarter or a half, but they'll win easily. That forward line of theirs will pile on quite a few goals against our terribly inexperienced backline.
Collingwood definitely made them look better than what they are. Nick was average by foot (unlike him), defensively they were setting up like untrained kelpies on a sheep station, they didn’t resemble a premiership team. De goey, Pendlebury, Crisp were all off in their hangovers.
I think it’ll be closer than most people think.
They are a legit premiership contender. They looked scary good against the scum. Gonna be a real tough one for our boys. Just try not to get flogged please

It's a scheduling blunder. The 17th team, a team that is historically bad, shouldn't play what looked like possibly the 2nd best team of the finals but there's no use complaining. Freo next week at home will show us how far we've come.

Clubs accepted it though yeh?
At a minimum the game should be played in Melbourne or Tassie. If churn out a performance similar to our first half against the Saints it will be real ugly.
Big game for X and our midfield - Briggs looked sore and tired by the end of the game and hopefully we can dominate that area of the game and pin them in our front half.
