Surely Ellis won't be the sub option will he ?

Be doubtful I reckon
More likely to be someone like sheppard or perhaps sheed if they decide to give him a run
Nah he's good to go. Half back with the odd stint on the wing i reckonEllis even become a likely stater off half back or will he be used sparingly off the bench ?

I just hope we don't go into our shell come round 1. Pre Season showed promise and exciting structures/tactics. There is no excuse for a drop in intensity and pressure. The game depends on how the Eagles midfield plays.
The home ground advantage should be enough to get us over the line.
It is going to be really tough, maybe Darling and LeCras will have some minutes in the midfield to increase the Glue effect.
Great not to have to play a top 4 side as an opener for the season.
The Dockers were so flat in the first practise match and improved in the second because they put more pressure.
So it is hard to work out where the Eagles really are.
Hopefully Shuey will trust himself and go for it because he did some things in the practise
matches that hint he is becoming a leader of the midfield.
If only this was Sheed' s third year, to have extra bulk to help the GLUE effect.
We might have to wait a few years to build a new midfield to match our defense and Forward line.
Cant weait to see our first game.
Maybe the exhuberence we showed in the pre-eason will still be there in the opening game.
Glass looks like he has a mullet in that pic

Coincidence? I think not
Gee, you've got a much bigger opinion of Wallis, Liberatore, Stevens, Boyd and Cooney on one leg, and a few other no names than I have, excluding Griffen of course.Looking forward to this game, I think it should be a tough one. The dogs have a very strong midfield, much better than ours IMO.(???) Here is a potential best 22 from the afl website:
B: Dale Morris, Jordan Roughead, Brett Goodes
HB: Jason Johannisen, Michael Talia, Liam Picken
C: Easton Wood, Ryan Griffen, Jack Macrae
HF: Koby Stevens, Stewart Crameri, Adam Cooney
F: Shaun Higgins, Tom Campbell, Luke Dahlhaus
FOLL: Will Minson, Mitch Wallis, Tom Liberatore
INT: Tory Dickson, Jake Stringer, Matthew Boyd
SUB: Daniel Giansiracusa
No, it was against the bombers. JK kicked 10 against the dogs back in 2011 though.Lecca and Kennedy to kick 15 between them.
Wasn't Lecca's record of 12 against the Dogs?
It's all about the GLUE this year apparently.
Swervability has gone bye bye
